You & I

Louis was nervous for the first date of him and Harry. He wondered if it would be the best or worst dates ever. As he drove Harry to the church, he mumbled to himself, "I hope this will turn out okay." Harry looked at him in confusion and said, "What do you mean, Louis?" "Nothing" Louis said, "Just a bit nervous, that's all." When they arrived, Louis and Harry walked through the doors and Harry gasped. The church was full of pictures and memoirs from the first time they met, to when they started dating. "Louis" Harry said, "It's beautiful." "I wanted to keep the memories alive and remind you of what you mean to me." Louis said. He gestured for Harry to follow him to the back. A couch and TV were in there. "I wanted to have something memorable, but simple." Louis said.

Harry was amazed at everything Louis had done for him. Nobody had ever cared for him as much as Louis. Louis said, "We'll be watching Titanic so snuggle up Haz, and let's get to it." Titanic was Harry's favorite movie. He liked the part at the end where she throws her necklace into the water. Louis had made everything perfect. Harry was still appalled that anyone would care for him as much as Louis did. After all Harry had been through, he finally found the good thing in the world that he had hoped he would find. That thing was Louis. Someone who made him feel safe and comfortable. Someone who liked him back. He'd found peace in the cruel world he lived in. He couldn't wait for the next date to see what Louis would do next. "Louis" Harry said, "This has been the best date ever." "I was trying for a way to be close to home but far from pain and misery."
