Bella's P.O.V
It was just another boring day in high school, my sister and I enter the school and head to first period. We only have one class together, which is science. I groan as I see Stacy, the richest girl in school, she expects everyone to worship her just because her dads loaded. But not Maddison and I, we turn our heads and part ways, first period of the day-Math. I ace this class with no problem, I seem to get complicated equations. I walk into the class room and plop down on a seat in the far back and start doodling in my note book, students start filling the class room as the bell rings. Mr. Morgan, a short bald man, walks in and being the math lesson for the day, I mentally groan at all the homework he's giving us. I sigh and write down the problems, I glance at the clock hoping this class would be over soon when Mr. Morgan called me up to the bored. My eyes widden as I realize I have to get up in front if the class, uh, no thanks. I sigh and get up, I shuffle to the bored and take the marker he's holding up. Before I know it I've finished the problem and face the shocked class, their mouths are open and they look like they've just seen a ghost."Very good Miss Storm, you maybe sit down now." He said and patted my back, I hurried back to my seat and pulled my beanie farther down my head. I sink in my chair and try to ignore every ones eyes burning holes into my head, this is so not what I need today. After maths over I hurried to my locker and grabbed my books for the next period, as I pulled out a book my locker door slammed causing the book in my hand to fall to the ground. I growl and come face to face with Madison,"What happened to you?" She said, I sighed and picked up my history book and turned to her. Don't ask, I said in my head. Her expression changed and she shut her mouth and walked away, what the hell? I sighed again and went to history.
~A few hours later~
Madison and I walk out of the building and head to our car, a black mini copper. I get in the front seat and start the car, I clench the stearing wheel and drive away from the jail we call school. Happy by Pharell Williams is playing on the radio, I turn it up and start to sing along, Madison laughs at me but soon joins in. As the song ends the cars in front of us come to a sudden stop, I slam on the brakes and stop a few inches away from the car ahead."What the hell?" I honk the horn and open the door,"Get in the drivers seat." I say to Madison, she nods and hops over the middle and buckles herself up. I walk in between cars and see a young man standing a few feet away with a gun to his head, I gasp and bit my lip. I need to help him! A few people walk towards him saying every things going to be okay, I knew it wasn't. I slowly walked towards him and put my hands in the air,"Hi, I'm Skylar. What's your name?" I say smiling at him, he looks at me in the eyes and let's out a breath. Please tell me your name, I say in my head."Nathan, my names Nathan." He said, I smiled and took another step towards him."Nice to meet you Nathan, how about you put the gun down, okay?" I said with a smile, he shock his head and started to cry."No one cares about me! All my friends and family hate me!" He cried and pressed the gun harder to his head,"I'm your friend Nathan, and I care about you, so please. Give me the gun." I say looking him in the eyes, he gave me a blank look and nodded, he handed me the gun and hugged me. I squeezed him and rubbed his back hoping i'd calm him down,"Your okay." I whispered, I look around and realized that people were recording and watching. I gulp and see police cars pull up to the sidewalk, a chubby man walked over to us and smiled at me."You may have just saved this young mans life." He said and patted me on the shoulder, I smiled and nodded. The police took Nathan away and said they'd give me an update on how he's doing, I said sure and walked back to the car. Madison was on her phone staring at it with her mouth open and her eyes wide, I tapped on the window and motioned for her to scoot over. I hoped into the car and waited for the cars to move,"What?" I asked her, she's been staring at me for a few minutes now. She shows me something on her phone and taps a video, its me convincing Nathan to put down the gun. It only happened a few minutes ago, how the hell does she know?"Its all over the news, Skylar." Madison said and looked out the window, this isn't good.
