He started stuttering. "Marianas Trench" I mumbled. He looked up at me from his hands. "What?'' I sat right on the couch and pulled out another Twix I grabbed from Regina on the way in here. "A Canadian, punk band?" He shook his head. I pulled out my nasty old phone. It was the only one I could afford. The social office was constantly going through budget cuts, so I barely got paid at all. I got on my favorite Spotify playlist which only had Marianas Trench, My Chemical Romance, Black Veil Brides, Falling in Reverse, Fit For Rivals, and... I'm going on a rant. Punk/Screamo/Metal/Rock bands, is what I'm trying to say. I showed him Stutter by Marianas Trench. After words, he was smiling. "Are they signed to a label? Do they have a manager? I need details, Woman!'' I laughed and nodded. Lead singer, Ramsay, he owns his own studio. Their signed to 604 Records. His dad is their manager.'' Simon scoffed. I can get his dad to agree to let a bag name take over!'' I smirked. "His parent's are Miles Ramsay, and Corlynn Hanney, I don't think you can top that.'' He grabbed my shoulders ''I created One Direction!'' ''Huh?" His eyes went wide. "You don't know who One Direction is?!'' I removed his hands from my shoulders. "I'm not stupid. I know who they are, I just think they are ordinary cookie cutter pop-star stuff.'' I went back to the couch and finally ate my Twix. I love them so much. "Cookie cutter? Ordinary? Okay, what can I do to make them different? New? Exciting, bold, fun,-'' I interrupted him. I didn't want to sit her for an hour with him talking my ear off. "I get it! Have them write about what they know. And I don't mean take a writer and have him write a love song. If they can't write songs worth crap then, do what you do best. Lie.''
