Chapter 1

Im scowling at my acne peppered face in the mirror in the girls toilets, Louis would never like a girl like me.

He probably likes perfect Claudia or maybe even crazy Meg.

Yeah one of them, not the socially awkward, bookworm who spends her weekends making rubber band bracelets or hanging out in the library.

Even though he'd been out with Claudia before, there was a rumour going around that he still likes her.

Just on cue Brooke and Paskelle walk in.

" hey " I smile over at them.

" hey,Chook and I were looking for you, come on.

" Paskelle says. " drama on the oval. " 'chook' drones.

I nod that explains everything. I can already tell something's up, just from the edge of the oval.

Meg, Imogen and and a few other girls are huddled in a group standing near to Louis, whose looking very awkward.

"whats happening ?" I ask Brooke and Paskelle.

" well you know how meg likes louis, " Brooke starts.

" yeah" I say moving my hands in a motion signalling to continue. Well she's going to ask him out. " P finishes.

I can feel my heart breaking into a million pieces, but I keep a straight face.

" We better run then."

So the three of us head off in a mad dash towards the group of girls. We arrive just in time to hear Meg.

"Will you go out with me Louis?"

" No." Is the simple but effective reply.

Louis begins to head up the slight hill towards the netball courts.

Meg trails behind Imogen hot on her heals.

" do you want to go out with Louis, Meg?" Calls out someone from the group recently formed.

Meg nods eagerly and Liam calls out to Louis.

" she said yes man. .

" Louis just shakes his head.

" Give me three reasons!" Meg yells out.

" I don't like you, I don't won't to and I - " he got cut off by Meg.

" cause I'm hot!" She calls out, though hots not the word for meg, cute more likely.

She's got a rounder face and a small nose and mouth as well as blonde hair cut just below the shoulder.

Where as Imogen has a thinner face and long extremely dark brown hair.

Everyone was making a fuss over Meg, so no- one noticed the absence of Louis, at least for a while anyway.

Brooke and Paskelle had dashed off somewhere, I couldn't see them strangely usually I could spot them in a heart beat, tall Brooke with her slender body, freckled face , tan and blonde hair and Paskelle the short, tan girl with the short thick hair.

But Meg had also disappeared so it didn't take a lot of thought to realised that they were with her.

Ella Heke a girl with crazy curly hair that Brielle had nicknamed 'fuzzy' walked over.

" poor Meg, I mean just a no, way to break a girls heart, like even I'm still getting over the break up or something would have been acceptable. Don't you think Jade " Ella says, the bell has rung so kids are trickling off the oval into their classes.

" we've got music now don't we?" I ask Ella.
