Leslie's POV
I am one week away from graduation and i cant wait.But, i wonder if my brother will be there.No one knows I'm Liam Payne's sister. I was adopted when I was 4 and he was 6. He hated me because I was suppose to be a boy(like that was my fault).It took us about two days to be best friends and he got over me being a girl. As we got older we grew really close. Right before I entered high school, he promised school wasn't going to be bad and he'd be there to help me. When i was 14 and he was 16, he auditioned for the X-factor for the second time and he made it i was so proud of him.I waited for him to come home to congratulate him, but my parents told me he wouldn't come back until the end of the show.So, i called and called and called and he never answered or called back and i hated him for it. That was four years ago and I haven't heard from him since.

I'm suppose to see him today, or so i hear all over the news and my friends keep telling me, they know he lives in this state, but they have no idea how close they are to him.

There is a party to celebrate graduation, sure its a week early but who cares.I beg my mom to let me go.

"But sweetie, your brother is suppose to come home today"

"What brother" i say as i roll my eyes

"Do you expect me to let you go with that attitude young lady?"

"Your right mom, I'm sorry. So can I go please please pleeeeeaaasssee?"

"Okay okay but do you promise to be nice to Liam when he comes home?"

"I promise to tolerate him. "I say earning a glare from her.

"Sorry i mean yes"

"Okay you can go, but be home by 10 so you can see your brother "

" Yes!! thank you thank you thank you i love you so much!"

I run upstairs to change then i run back downstairs, kiss my mom goodbye, and run out the door where my friend Fallon is waiting for me.

"Hey Les, you ready?"

"Of course i hear there will be a karaoke machine"

Okay so i hate Liam, but I love the songs the band he's in sings. My personal favorite is Little things, Which i plan to sing at the party tonight.

Its 9:30 and it takes about 15 minutes for me to get home, and even though i don't want to see Liam any time soon i have to get home by 10(Im a bit of a goody-two-shoes) so i decide if i want to sing i should go next.The song starts and I sing Zayn's solo

Then i hear a familiar voice sing with me.
And it all makes sense to me

Oh god its Liam. All the girls go crazy. I refuse to sing with him.
(Liam singing alone)

The crinkles by your eyes (Liam touches my cheek with his thumb and i smack his hand away)

He whispers away from the mic

"Whats wrong"

"Get away from me"

The song is continuing and im not paying attention. Then the girls scream even more and Harry steps in to sing then the rest of the boys follow as i argue with Liam.

"Mum said you'd be mad at me" Dam his British accent. i have a boring American Accent.

"Well she wasn't wrong"

"What happened we use to be so close?"

"Use to be"

i get up to leave then a hand goes around my wrist it's Niall. I've never met them before but i know who they are like every other girl at my school.

Niall-You'll never love yourself half as much as I love you
.
(whispers away from the mic) sing

"What? " i ask in disbelief.

"Sing, please?"

"Just don't make me sit next to him"
He nods and switches places with me so i am in between him and Harry

Niall and me-And you'll never treat yourself right, darling, but I want you to
If I let you know I'm here for you
Maybe you'll love yourself like I love you, oh.

Harry urges me to continue so i sing everything Liam Doesn't Then when the song is over i get up and run outside. I hear someone calling me but i don't stop
