Again, I woke up to an abrupt sound. But this time, it wasn't what I was expecting. It was screams coming from downstairs. I looked to the side side of the bed to find Niall was staring at me with complete worry in his eyes.

He kissed me on the forehead and ordered me to stay in the bedroom to see what all the noise was all about. He stood up and slipped his jogging bottoms on and walked out the door.

For a minute, I was confused why I wasn't in my bedroom, then I realized, 'Niall brought you to his bedroom last night'. I swung my legs over the side of the bed and stood up. His room contained a layer of dirty laundry and unmentionable items.

I heard a different scream and heard "Help!" moaning from downstairs. I quickly threw on Niall's sweater and my jogging bottoms and ran down the stairs to find something I was wishing to never see again, Greyson Winters. My ex-boyfriend who abused his way through everything. Niall, Zayn, and Harry were doubled over on the floor and motionless.

Everything began to shake and the words. "Wake up!" filled the air.
My eyes shot open. Niall was sitting up by my side. "Babe, are you okay? You were screaming! Were you having a nightmare?" he whispered. I stared out the window behind the bed frame, it is still pitch black outside. I looked back at Niall, his eyes filled with worry. I nodded slowly and a tear fell down my cheek. 'Nightmares about my abusive ex-boyfriend, I hate getting these. This is always a sign of not being able to sleep for the next few days.' I thought nervously to myself. He took me into his arms and held me tight. He hummed a familiar rhythm. The hums transitioned into whispers:

The dimples in your back at the bottom of your spine

After a while, you calmed down and you both went down the stairs with your hands linked. You were met into the kitchen by the rest of the boys, each of them sharing an expression of distress. "We heard screaming upstairs, we were hoping it would be screaming pain from..." Louis whispered. You let go of Niall's hug and tightly squeezed Louis. "I'm fine. It was just a nightmare." Louis grasped you tighter and kissed your temple romantically. "We heard you scream someone named Greyson Winters? Is that someone you know?" Louis whispered again. You nodded in his arms. He transitioned the hug into a side hug and allowed you to explain who he is and what happened.

"And that's why my mother hates me," I whimpered, finished the story by now.
"Don't worry love, we won't let this Greyson kid get near you anymore." Liam said, tears in his eyes.
"Promise?" I asked.
"Promise." Louis said, hugging me tighter in the side.
