Never The Same Without You

Bella's P.O.V
I wake up to the sound of someone screaming, I sit up and look around not recognizing where I am. I'm in a large room painted black with a few chairs and a fireplace in the corner, I swing my legs over the bed and stand up. I walk around and hear the screaming again on this time louder, I look around for a door but don't find one. If there's no door then how the hell did I get in here? "Hello? Is anyone there?" I shout and pound on the walls, "What." A deep voice said from behind, I spin around and almost fainted. A man with red eyes, black hair, wearing a dark black suit with a red tie. I lean up against the wall and stare into his eyes, "W-who are you?" I asked, "Devon, and you must be Bella." He said while walking to me making me press my body even closer to the wall, "Are you scared of me?" He whispered in my ear, I shiver at his voice and shake my head. "I want to hear you say it, say you're not afraid of me." He whispered again but this time leaning closer, "I'm not afraid of you." I say sounding more convincing then I thought, "Good." He said with an evil smirk, I tried not to show any fear as he slowly backed away from me. "Why am I here?" I asked, "To see your father, of course." He said and held out his hand for me to take, I raised an eyebrow at him but took his hand. I closed my eyes and waited for something to happen, but nothing did so I opened them. My mouth hung open as I looked at what seemed to be a large hallway, "Wha-" I was cut off by something being pressed to my mouth, I looked around and met Devon's red eyes. He put his finger to his lips and shaking his head, I nod and shook off his hand. We walk down a long dark hallway lit with torches, we walked silently until we can to a pair of large doors. For some reason he smiled at me and pushed the doors open revealing a man in all black sitting on a throne. "Ah, there she is. Come Bella, and say hello to your father." The man said with an evil smile, I stood there in disbelief staring at him. I felt something push me forward and realized it was Devon pushing me towards the strange man. "Don't be shy, I don't bit, much." He said standing up, I look at Devon and he nods. I bit my lip and cautiously walk over to him, "So we meet again." He said staring into my eyes, "We've never met." I say holding my chin up higher, he laughed loudly as if I said a joke. "Yes we have, but you probably don't remember since you were only a child." He says walking back to his throne, he sits down and waves his hand around like he's trying to shoo away a fly. I look around the room and watch as a staff appears in his hand, I take a sudden step back and almost knocking Devon and I over. "Do not be afraid my child." He said while pointing it towards me, a red light comes out of it and hits me knocking me to the ground. Surprisingly it didn't hurt, I got up and looked at him with a confused look. "Why did you do that?" I asked and put my hands on my hips, "It didn't effect you?" He asked with a confused look on his face, I shook my head at him as he pointed the staff at me again. This time a black light comes out and hits me, knocking me over again. "Would you stop doing that!" I say getting up, "Why aren't you effected?" He shouted at me, "I don't know?" I answered honestly, "Well it should affect you, Devon, take her back to the room!" He said and left the room, I stood there in shock over what just happened, "Come with me." Devon said and grabbed my arm, he pulled me out of the room and threw me against the wall. "How are you un-effected by him, tell me!" He yelled in my face, "I don't know!" I screamed and pushed him away, he backed away and glared at me. "Lets go." He growled and grabbed my arm again, I slapped his hand away and began walking the same way we came. "Why are you so damn stubborn." He muttered from behind me, "Because you're an ass, if you were nicer to me I wouldn't be so stubborn." I replied to him, he looked up at me shocked. "What?" I asked, "You heard me?" He said with wide eyes, "Yeah, I'm not deaf." I say with a scoff, "I didn't say it out loud." He said. What? Does this mean I can read minds? What the hell is happening to me..
