You would think that your own mother would want you to stay in school and get a better life. She is suppose to watch out for you, I guess my mother never got the memo. She pleaded for me to drop out. I finally had to give up and do it. I could get a GED online and not have to worry about it.. Right?
My phone started ringing on the charger and I went and grabbed it. Jamie was calling me. She must have heard the news.
"Hello?" I answered.
"What the hell do you think you are doing?" She almost yelled into the receiver.
"You know my mother has been trying to sell me on doing this." I sighed. I heard her groan.
"So you do it? You know how bad this can fuck up everything you ever wanted!"
"I can still get a GED. I don't want to disappoint her."
" No, you are letting her win Avery! She is trying to make you just like her. A high school drop out who can't even get out of her own fucking bed!"
"Jamie, I maybe a high school drop out.. but... I overcame her trying to mold me into her. We both know she tried to keep me overweight so I would be just like her, But I didn't let that stop me, did I?"
"No, thank god." She sighed. I laughed at her and looked at the clock seeing it was 11:43 am.
"Jamie, get your little ass back to class!" I laughed. She chuckled on the other end and hung up. I sighed as I put the phone back on the charger and went back to the computer. I had nothing else to do so I decided to just be everywhere on the internet. I finally wound up on Omegle and I put in a few of my likes in the box and pressed start chat. I came across a lot of people who were trying to get a little ass and I quickly disconnected from all of them. Finally I came across someone who was wanting to actually talk.

Me: I'm Avery.
Stranger: I'm .. Jared.
Me: Well, hello Jared. How are you today?
Stranger: I am just fine Avery, What about you?
Me: Just fine thank you... Are you a perv who just wants to see a naked picture.

Me: No! I just kinda ran into a lot of guys who only wanted that, you would have to be the first guy today who doesn't.

As soon as it said he had disconnected I heard my phone buzz. I went and grabbed my phone. He had written that he was happy he had met me and could wait to talk to me after I get back . I smiled and texted back a smiley face.
