You're The One
Chapter Six
Charlotte's POV:
"...are you even listening to me?" Harry's final words shook me out of my daydream, I guess I zoned out while he was giving his little 'I'm sorry' speech, which I know he didn't mean a word of.
"Yeah, obviously." I tried to sound like I was, but I don't think he bought it one bit.
"Then what do you say? Will you let me buy you a sorry coffee?" Ugh, leaving the house is the last thing I want to do; I just want to get this project over and done with so me and Harry can return to our separate lifestyles.
However, after a long - unnecessary - debate, I found myself getting changed into some skinny jeans and my flowing, coral tank top so he could take me out. On the way out I picked up my black, leather jacket in case it got chilly in the ten minute walk to the nearest café, Café 21, and shouted to my parents that I was going out for a bit.

Awkward didn't even began to describe the atmosphere between me and Harry during our journey, not a single word was spoken. The only detectable sound was our feet hitting the ground, and even that was muffled by the layer of soft leaves that covered the floor.
Luckily, we soon arrived at our destination and found a suitable table to sit at after ordering our drinks. After a couple of minutes, I had already had enough of Harry apologising every five seconds, "Harry, it's fine you don't need to apologise, I over reacted - it's fine!" I lied, but it doesn't matter if it makes him shut up, does it? He apologised once more and I looked up and got caught in his gaze.
Everything around us suddenly disappeared.
I felt an instant connection between us, I think we both did. We both sat looking at each other, I believe both realising the instant pull between us. We both leaned in and before we knew it our lips met - it felt so right. His lips so soft and tender. It was my first kiss. Magical. Sensational. Unbelievable.
"Coffees for Harry Styles and Charlotte Stanley?" The waitress shouted causing me and Harry's lips to part. We both looked each other stunned; I don't think either of us could believe what had just happened.
"I'm sorry, I have to go Harry." I said grabbing my coat off the back of her chair and running off out of the door. I couldn't stay any longer, not now we had returned to reality. Had that really just happened? Had we really just kissed?
