You're The One
Chapter Eleven
Charlotte's POV:
Piercing rings woke me up, signalling that it was time to face another day of the torture more commonly known as school. I sighed, knowing that today I had History Period 1 and Art Period 2, meaning I would have to endure two lessons next to Harry and pretend that nothing had happened. Even though something had happened. In fact, everything had happened! Our relationship went from nothing to just plain right confusing in a matter of seconds and now I wish we could just forget about it.
I wish it had never happened.

"Are you alright Charlotte? You look a little bit like you want to jump off a cliff into a lake of crocodiles waiting to chew you up!" Sophie. She always knows how to make me crack a smile.
"I'm fine, just thinking of last night."
"Ah, things not go well with Mr Styles I take it. Is he even more horrible and stuck up than we thought?"
"Yes...No...I don't know! And no, he's actually a nice person! He apologised for everything and bought me a coffee, I suppose that's where it went wrong."
"Ooh, what happened? I'm intrigued!"
Not being able to face saying it out loud, I muttered it under my breath so quiet even I could barely hear.
"Ya what? Charlotte stop mumbling and tell me!"
"I...He...We...We kissed." I finally admitted hiding behind my hands.
Prying my hands apart, she looked me in the eyes before shouting, "Why the fuck would you kiss him!" for everyone to hear.
"I...I didn't mean to, it just happened! And then I ran off!"
"Why would you run off? Was it not good?" Sophie questioned, before adding her little twist to it, "Wait?! You took the coffee with you right?"
"No, it was amazing! It was magical even. In that second, I felt like I was floating on the clouds above Disney, watching the fireworks explode around us. And then I saw sense, I realised it was wrong and panicked! And no, I'm afraid the coffee stayed with Harry."
"Well that was the bigger mistake you've ever made! And I mean the coffee obviously, not Harry."
-
Three, two, one. I take a deep breath as I walk into the room and take my seat next to him. He didn't even lift his head up to look at me, he just carried on writing in that little journal thing. After half an hour of sitting as far away from each other as possible in silence, I figured it was time someone made the first move. However, I was extremely unwilling for that to me so I waited another 10 minutes before I went for it.
"So... I was thinking we better actually start the homework?"
"Yeah, we'll do it at mine."
"Okay..." I said, dragging out the 'y' trying to indicate to him to tell me when. However, after another minute of silence I realised he wasn't going to meaning I had to initiate conversation again. "Are you really not going to tell me when or where?"
"Oh yeah, come tonight at about 5. I'll write you the address down." He answered, jotting his address down before sliding it to me. Finally, some progress!
-
After class Harry met up with his little group, and I was hoping that he would remember what happened yesterday.
Unfortunately, I hoped wrong.
As I walked past them, Will started to shout things to me, saying the things I had told Harry last night, while Harry stood
there looking almost...sheepish?
Why would he do this?
Notes
Oh my god! I'm such a terrible, horrible person! A story should never go 2 months without being updated! So for that I am deeply sorry!
The reason is, I've been on many holidays in that period and none of them had strong enough WiFi to post anything!
Anyway, here's what I've changed:
Harry is no longer going to tell Charlotte, he is going to try to forget about her.
And also the title! It's now called 'You're the One' and the sequel will be 'Still the One'! I just thought it made more sense xxxxxxx
please comment feedback! It would mean the absolute world to me!
Xxxxxxxx
@Simply Amy
