I woke up to a hard couch beneath me. I heard Zayn's faint singing. Man, I haven't heard that in years! I kept my eyes closed, acting as if I was still unconscious.

Zayn stroked my hair as he sang, making my heart speed up a little. I pretended as if I was just now waking up, squinting my eyes open and yawning.

"Hey," I said awkwardly and sat up. I sat farther from him.

"Hey. I'm sorry, I didn't know-" I smiled.

"You didn't know. It's fine, I guess." I looked at the digital clock. It was well past the time he should be gone! "Zayn, I think you should go, it's getting really late and-"

"Your mum said I could stay over. I can just borrow some of your dads clothes, yeah?" My eyes widened. I shook my head vigorously.

"No. If he came back and saw you, that wouldn't be good. I'm really sorry Zayn," I said pushing him towards the door," but you need to go home." I closed the door behind him, locking it.

What was that song that Zayn was singing? I rush to my room, makin sure the lock stayed locked, of course. I pull up Lyrics.com on my computer and type in what Zayn had sung.

'Half a Heart' sprung up. I clicked the link, and read over the lyrics.
