Imagine A New World
Imagine Your World~#2
I stood in front of the train station, clutching my ticket against my chest. My phone in the other. I looked at the texts from Harry last night.
Harry: Why do you have to go?
Megan: I told you Harry, I can't stay.
Harry: You can, though! I can't let what happened send you away! I just can't.
Megan: Can't or won't?
Harry: I can't, and won't, lose you. Your my shining star. My gold medal. My everything. And, losing you is like losing more than half a heart. Its losing everything.
Megan: Don't make me cry, Harold Edward Styles. This is hard enough for me. Please, don't make it harder.
1 New Message. I clicked, open.
Harry:And being here without you is like I'm waking up to
Only half a blue sky
Kinda there but not quite
I'm walking around with just one shoe
I'm half a heart without you
I'm half a man at best,
With half an arrow in my chest
I miss everything we do,
I'm half a heart without you
Forget all we said that night
No, it doesn't even matter
'Cause we both got split in two
If you could spare an hour or so,
We'll go for lunch down by the river
We can really talk it through
Tears fell down my cheeks as the train pulled forward. I wiped a tear from my cheek, and stood up. I slowly walked to the train, stepping onto the metal stair. I handed the conductor the ticket, stepping on. I got on the car, sitting by the window. I leaned my head against the window, willing the train to not go. The train slowly lurched forward, and I felt my heart burst. Tears fell down my cheeks like rain, and I bit back the sobs that were slowly climbing up my throat. Images of our last night flooded my brain. We were on the couch, when my stomach started twisting, sending me to the restroom. Harry held my hair back, rubbing my back.
"You alright?" He asked I nodded.
"Ugh, sushi was not the best idea." I said, slightly laughing. He nodded.
"Yeah...the...sushi." He said, dubious I looked at him.
"You calling me a liar?" I snapped. He looked away. "You think I'm lying?"
"I don't know. You have been ignoring my texts for three days. Until this morning." He yelled back.
"My sister was in the hospital having heart surgery! The last thing that was on my mind was, 'Oh, let's text Harry and make sure his sorry-" I yelled.
"So, that's your new excuse?!" He yelled, loud enough for the neighbors to probably hear.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" I yelled back.
"First, it was, 'My mom needs help at home for a few days.' Then, it was 'My best friend has a hangover. Gotta help her.' What's next? Dinosaur's are taking over the flat?!" He yelled. My cheeks grew red, heating up quickly. My arms clenched.
"That's how you feel?!" I yelled.
"Yes. Yes it is!" He said. "In fact, that's how I've felt since you had the accident! All you've done since then was mope around feeling sorry for yourself! Instead of taking care of the people around you!" He yelled. I ended up slapping him, storming away.
The train stopped, and I wiped the tears away, looking forward.
"You really thought you could give me up that easy?" I gasped, running up to Harry. I wrapped my arms around his neck, pressing my lips into his. I could hear some people "ah-ing." And others saying, "Get a room." But, I didn't care. He spun me around. Causing me to laugh. The train lunged forward, causing us to crash into the back wall, falling into the front seat. His green eyes looked at me, his dimpled cheeks piercing by his mouth. I smiled. He stood up, extending his arm towards mine. I grabbed it, slowly getting up. He led me to the seat. I sat down. I looked out the window.
"Why'd you come for me?" I asked. He turned my face to his, his smile faded.
"Because," He started, "I am nothing without you." He leaned in, kissing me on the lips.
