Stay True

Harry's POV
The front door slams open and Katie runs to me. I pick her up and spin her around. ''I've missed you.''I mumble in her ear.''She..told me the truth.''She says to me. I put her down and look at her.''I'm sorry I didn't believe you, Harry.''She says.

''Its okay, I wouldn't have believed me either.''I smile and she smiles back.''Darcy's with Trey..''She tells me. I nod.''Good, we need to get back on track.''I say and she nods.''Tonight, over dinner, we are going to talk about all of this, got it?''I say and she nods. Her eyes stare deeply into mine. God, I've missed her so much.

I look at her. I've never felt so happy to see anyone before. She stares at me with her smile that can light up a room. It sure did light up my life. I lean to her and put our lips together. We kiss. She pulls back and smiles to me.

''I'm sorry...''I mumble.''About what?''she asks. Her eyes closed and our foreheads leaning together. I close my eyes too. ''About fighting with you...I over reacted...And I never meant to make you hate me so much.''I say. ''No matter what you do, I could never hate you, Harry.''She says.

I smile.''I know.''I mumble.''I love you.''I say and she nods softly.''I know...I love you too.''She says.I open my eyes and lean up. She looks at me and says,''Tonight...what time?'' ''Um..about 8:30. I can pick you up if you want.''I say and she nods.

She walks to the door and opens it. She looks at me and says,''Bye...'' I wave lightly as she walks out.

I have her back. She's mine again. Forever. If I don't screw it up this time. But knowing us, something's going to go wrong. Don't know when, how, or why, but something will.

I sit on the couch thinking. She came in. She hugged me. She kissed me. She done everything I have been hoping for since she left.

Except bring my daughter back.


Not seeing her walk in with Darcy. It was..horrible. I had my hopes up when the door opened up. But she didn't.


And that broke me.
