Shattered Dreamer
Prolog
"Who's that?" Niall asked looking down the road as the locally shattered walked our way.
"Oh that's May, she has no family or friends. She lives in the broken home just a little down the road from where I live," I retorted.
"Oh, how does she do it?" Niall asked.
"Do what?" I asked.
"Stay so happy and joyous all the time when she has no one who loves her very breath?" Niall asked looking at her as she walked by.
His words caught me off guard, looking at him shocked by what he just said, I looked back at her as she walked by running her fingers in her hair as the wind blew it crazy.
"She's learned from so many mistakes in the past, I guess she's become known to all the disasters around her since her parents died and her brothers left her.... She doesn't trust anyone now.... Everyone who said they would be here for her left... She's just a shattered soul running with the wind now," I whispered standing up.
"How would you know Harry?" Niall asked looking at me with sorrow in his eyes.
".... Because she used to be my friend.... That is, until she lost herself into the quiet darkness," I said walking away.
