*Brianna's P.O.V*

I am alive. My head aches. I'm sitting here with all my friends wondering what the hell I am doing here. Everything is just a blur.

**Flashback**

I woke up like any normal summer day. It is 10:47 am. My house looks like http://keralahousedesignidea.blogspot.com/2013/12/1785-sqfeet-contemporary-mix-4-bhk-house.html?m=1 No my family is not rich.
Victoria was spending the night at my house. We do that all the time. I did my daily routine which included just taking a long nice shower and getting dressed. Victoria did the same and soon we were looking at each other in astonishment. We go everywhere and shop together, so that means our wardrobe is basically the same. We were both wearing http://www.polyvore.com/best_friend_outfits/set?id=110950775#cs. Then we both quickly applied our makeup to go downstairs to eat. We both had some cereal.
"Bye Mum. Bye Dad. I love you. Victoria and I are going to meet up with the girls to hang out today. Maybe cruise around." I call out to my parents while grabbing my keys, phone, and purse off the counter.
"Okay we love you baby. Stay safe and out of trouble." My mum said while we walked out the door.Victoria and I hop into my car http://mkalty.org/2013-mini-cooper-convertible/ Okay maybe my family is a little rich. But I am definitely spoiled. I kind of accept that too.
But Brianna is too. In my opinion she might be more spoiled. She is the only child. I have one brother. But he is barely around. Victoria and I are 17 while most of the other girls of our group are 18. Some are 17 though. But we hang out all the time. Our favourite place to go is the mall because we are obviously girls.

We sped down the highways and into the parking lot to the mall to meet the girls.
"Hey guys!" Victoria and I said in unison as we walked up to the girls that were waiting. Everyone of us said "Hi" to each other and caught up a bit on what has happened. We made our way into the mall and to the food court to get some Dairy Queen. After, we headed to American Eagle, H&M, Aeropostale, and Forever 21. After shopping for nearly 3 hours, our hands were filled with bags. So we decided we would head off to the park. I texted my mum as I stepped into the car. I didn't start the car because I was waiting on Brianna to get in. She was flirting with a boy name Austin. They would be cute together.

To: Mum
From: Brianna
Hey mum. I love you, the girls and I are going to head to the park. Talk to you later. xx

To: Brianna
From: Mum
Okay stay safe baby. I will talk to you soon. On your way back, please pick up some chips of your choice and lemonade from the store.

To: Mum
From: Brianna
Of course anything for you mum. I love you. See you soon. xx

Victoria got in the car and we were off. We arrived at the park to see the girls all spread out on blankets. So we went to join them. It is about 5:45 pm and the sun is already setting. The sun issue mint and there is a glow by the tree across the park.
"Hey girls, there is a glowy thing over there. Should we check it out?" I say out of curiosity.
"Yeah. That sounds interesting. Let's go." Lillian says with eagerness. I receive nods from the rest of the girls. So we all head over. Up close the glowy stuff looks like a liquid dripping out of a tree. It starts to glow like it senses our presence. Then it starts to bubble and pulse as if it was our hearts. Speaking of hearts, my heart is beating hard against my ribs. And BOOM. It just explodes.

**End of Flashback**

The girls and I all sit up and look at each other and ourselves. I feel different but I shrug it off. I guess we are okay. The tree and liquid is still there. Our surroundings look the same as it was before. Victoria and I look at each other and we all walk awkwardly back to our cars. After, Victoria and I headed to the store and got what my mum needed and left to the house.

All the girls headed home and we changed forever.
