In a Heartbeat
Wait
"What are you doing with that?!" Melody shouted at me as I hung a white picture frame on the wall of her recording studio.
I turned around and saw that Melody was crying. I walked over to her and took her face in my hands, wiping away her tears with my thumbs.
"Don't cry, Mel," I said quietly. "You're strong, Mel."
I leaned forward slowly and kissed her gently on the lips. I know it sounds corny, but it was like fireworks for me. I wish I could read minds, because then I would know what Melody was thinking.
Melody's POV
When he kissed me, I was so surprised I didn't even do anything at first.
It was like fireworks were exploding.
I'm sorry, but that would hurt.
But it was just a tickly feeling in my stomach. Praise Jesus it didn't hurt to kiss someone!
I subconciously kissed him back, not sure what to do.
I pulled away first. I didn't want to, but they were probably looking for us.
"We should probably go upstairs," I said, looking up at him. "They're probably looking for us."
"Yeah," was all he said.
I started toward the door, but he grabbed my hand and pulled me back.
"Wait," he said, looking at me with intensity in his eyes.
Just then, Harry's iPhone beeped, but he ignore it. Then it rang.
He groaned and pulled it out of his pocket. His jaw dropped. "Oh my God."
