Darcy 2

"Oh Darcy's here", I heard Stephanie say to my dad as I walked on the porch and into the kitchen.
"Just in time for dinner", dad said taking a bite of his steak and then quickly pulling away, sticking out his tongue. Sarah and Stephanie laughed.
"So how was Justin's"? Dad asked as I sat down at the table across from my dad and my sister.
"Great, it was great", I said quickly. I didn't dare to look in his eyes.
"Good. How is Louis and El? haven't talked to them in a while", Stephanie asked.
"They're great also", I lied. I had no clue because I haven't seen them in a while myself. If dad knew that we were home alone, I'd be dead!
"Good", dad said. Stephanie served my plate to me but I wasn't hungry at all. My stomach felt queasy and my head hurt.
"Stephanie. I ate a huge lunch today at school and I don't feel like I can eat right now ", I said. Stephanie came up and grabbed my plate away
"Okay sweetie. I'll put it in a container and you can eat it tomorrow", she said. I smiled and left the table. I went up to my room and plopped on my bed. I pulled out my phone and started dialing Alyssa's number. Should I tell her? Nah. I put my phone back on my nightstand. I thought my first time having sex would be amazing. I know he's my boyfriend and all but it doesn't feel amazing. It didn't feel like love.

The next morning, I woke up tired. Usually on the second day of school, I was eager to learn something new. Today felt like it was going to be stressful. I walked into first hour and sat in my assigned seat. The bell still had another 3 minutes until it rang. I looked over at Justin who was sitting by Nate again.
"Hey", I said from across the room. He just looked at me, waved, and went back talking to his new friend. I rolled my eyes and looked forward.
"Hey Darcy are you okay"? Xavier looked at me and asked. I smiled and fluffed my wavy hair.
"Yeah I'm great", I lied.
"Darcy can I ask you something"? He asked me. I nodded with a grin.
"Do you think you would maybe want to go out with me sometime"? He asked. My eyes widened and my stomach dropped. He was so cute and he looks like he has a great personality.
"Oh. I'm sorry, I kind of umm...have a boyfriend", I said with disappointment in my voice. He smiled.
"No that's cool! Can we still be friends"? He asked.
"Of course"! I said with a smile. He seemed calm about the rejection but I could see in his eyes that he was hurt.
"So who's this lover boy"? He asked running his fingers through his hair.
"Him", I said pointing to Justin.
"Oh really? I didn't picture you dating the weed smoker type", he said with a bit of a smirk. I gave him a confused look.
"Justin does not smoke weed"! I defended. He was so rude for thinking that he would be the type to do such a thing.
"Ah", he said turning all the way around in his chair, no longer looking at me. I looked at Justin again. He was smiling and laughing with the girl across from him as well. She was pale and had straight black hair with blue eyes. Why have I never seen her before? She had a lip pearcing and a purple belly button ring that she was showing to Nate but Justin had been looking as well. Her stomach was super flat but she had pretty big boobs for her size. I didn't like her already. I had a minute and a half left so I got up and bravely went and stood by them. Nate was sitting on the girls desk and Justin was sitting on the empty desk across from theirs. I sat in the desk that Justin was sitting on top of. His face became red as if he was embarrassed. I don't care. I was going to show this girl that he was taken. She slowly pulled her shirt down and Justin's eyes watched as she did so.
"Hey baby", I said. Justin seemed surprised by this.
"Oh hey do I know you"? I asked in a high voice to the girl. She looked around with a frown.
"If you have to ask then obviously not", she said in a bitchy tone.
"This is Skylar, she's a sophomore", Nate said.
"If your a sophomore than how are you in this class"? I asked.
"I'm just really smart", she said looking at her dark purple fingernails. Justin still kept looking at her. That's it. I started running my fingers through his hair.
"Your hair is gorgeous today", I said.
"Can you say desperate or what"? Skylar said to Nate. Excuse me?
"Oh no he's with me", I said crossing my arms and raising my eyebrows.
"Your dating her"? She asked Justin.
"Yeah. Since freshman year", I said. He nodded slowly.
"Did I ask you"? She asked. All of the sudden the bell rang.
"Didn't think so. Bye", she said. I stood up angrily and walked back to my seat.
"You look angry", Xavier said.
"I am. That sophomore girl better watch herself", I said. He smiled.
"Messing with your boyfriend"? He asked. I nodded.
"She's just doing that to make you jealous. She thinks she has power just because she's 14 and in a senior class full of dumb asses", he said. I laughed.
"True. Do you know anything about her"? I asked.
"Well. I did see her hanging out with two blonde girls this morning and they were talking about how her birthday is next week and she'll finally be 15. I also heard her tell the girls that her dad professionally sings and her mom is a lawyer so she's filthy rich", he said. I rolled my eyes.
"She's probably just saying that. But thanks for the help", I said. All of the sudden, the teacher ran in.
"Class I need to run down to the copy center, I'll be right back"! She said grabbing a paper and walking out. Then this kid named Landon Jay ran up to the front of the room.
"Hey everyone! The Jay party starts at 8 on Friday night at my place. But remember. Don't let the fishies know"! He said. Everyone started talking all at the same time. Landon Jay comes from a family with 12 other brothers. Every year on the Friday of the first week of school, he throws a party. It's pretty much a time for sophomores, juniors, and seniors to have fun and get away from the annoying freshman. Everyone in the school is invited except for them so it was always pretty wild. His oldest brother Tanner threw the first Jay party his sophomore year high school. Everyone thought it was so cool so he threw another one his junior and senior year. When he graduated, the tradition of throwing the Jay party was past down to Landon's next oldest brother Dan for his sophomore year and so on. Each brother was 3 years apart so a party every year of high school was pretty neat. I went last year and in 10th grade and I had a great time.
"Are you going"? I heard Nate ask Justin.
"Yeah man! Jay party's are crazy", he said.
"I want to go", Skylar said messing with her lip ring.
"Well you can go but you HAVE to keep it a secret from the freshman", Justin said. Skylar was going?! Oh I was definitely going now. She thinks she can just walk into my boyfriends life and eventually make him fall in love with her? Not happening. But Justin would never break apart out almost 4 year relationship for her... Right?
