Darcy 2

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday flew by faster than ever. I got up Friday morning in one of the best moods I've been in, in a long time. I took a shower and left my natural hair in wet waves. I put on Ugg boots, black leggings, and I baggy pull over sweatshirt. I usually wear eyeliner on my top and bottom lids, mascara, and concealer ad today I just wore mascara. Today was just one of those days where I didn't care how I looked whatsoever.
"Can I drive your car this morning so I don't have to walk"? I asked my dad as I was about to leave.
"Sorry now that I have a job, I have to have the car. I can bring you in like 15 minutes but if you want to go now you have to walk. School started in 15 minutes so I'd rather walk. Since my dad didn't have a first or second hour, he didn't have to get to school until about 10:00.
"I'll just walk", I said almost walking out the door. Dad stopped me and gave me a kiss on the forehead.
"I really need to get you a car", he said. I laughed, put my earbuds in, and started walking. It was almost the end of September so the air was a bit chilly. My wet hair was freezing on the back of my neck and I could feel my nose getting cold. I turned the corner of where Justin and I used to meet and continued walking. School was just down the street and I couldn't wait to get there. Today was going to be a great day.
"Hey love"! I heard. I stopped and my eyes widened as I heard the voice behind me. Justin walked up next to me and smiled. His eyes were red and his breath smelled like pot. I rolled my eyes and walked faster. He violently grabbed my wrist and pulled me back toward him.
"Where do you think your going baby"? He asked really close to my face. I got my wrist out of his grip and back away from him.
"I'm not your "baby"! I said. I tried walking past him so I could get to school but he kept getting in my way.
"Oh, but you are", he said getting his lips close to my neck. I pushed him away and tried to get away from him.
"Leave me alone", I said.
"I love you", he said grabbing my arm very tightly. I tried pulling but it just hurt the more I tried to get away.
"Justin stop"! I yelled. He playfully bit my neck, making me smack him. He put both hands up to his cheek, stunned.
"Don't fucking slap me bitch"! He yelled. The next thing I knew, his fist met my face and I had fell onto the ground. I touched my lip and blood was all over my hand. He smirked and then started running to the school. I sat on the sidewalk with a very bloody lip not knowing what to do. The road was dead and no houses lived near so nobody had seen. I got up and thankfully I had some tissues in my backpack. Tears started coming out of my eyes as I seem the blood transferred onto my tissue. I slowly walked the rest of the way, dabbing my lip with the tissue every few seconds. When Justin's fist touched my face, I couldn't stop thinking of Chloe.

I walked into calculus a few minutes late with a bruise in between my cheek and my mouth. My cheeks had tear stains and my lip still hurt.
"Styles. Late again", Mrs. Quinn said writing my name on a clipboard.
"What are we doing today"? I asked Xavier when I sat down.
"The review packet. Want to work with me"? He asked. I nodded.
"Ready for our date tonight"? He asked with a huge smile. I had totally forgot that I was going to the movies with him tonight.
"Yup", I said quickly. I wrote my name on my paper for an excuse for him to look at my face.
"Babe, what's wrong"? He asked. He's never called me babe before. I smiled a little at his comment.
"Rough morning", I said.
"Sorry. Do you want to talk about it"? He asked. He had a smile that showed complete sympathy. I looked over at Justin's spot to see neither Justin or Skylar in the class. They probably skipped.
"No thanks. Lets focus on you. How are you"? I asked changing the subject.
"I'm pretty good", he said. I want to tell him about what happened. But I was too scared.
