Surviving

I didn't sleep all night, like I promised myself. Night #2 of no sleeping was just about complete as the morning sky was showing. I looked at the sleeping faces of what have come to be my best friends, boyfriend, and ex. Of all people to be stuck on an island with, it was them, and I'm not saying that as a bad thing.

I heard a sound that brought me out of my thoughts, moaning. I looked around to pin-point the cause of the sound, until I saw Harry waking up, stretching like nothing was wrong, like he wasn't on an island. He saw I was awake, and immediately jumped up.

"Toni, what are you doing up so early?" he groaned out like a yawn.

"Do you want the honest truth?" I winced, waiting for his answer.

"Yea, why would you lie to me?" he questioned, confused as to why I wouldn't tell the truth about something silly like this.

"Well, promise you won't tell anyone?" I held my pinky out.

He looked at my pinky, didn't say anything, and shook it, obviously tired.

"Ok, well," I breathed, "There are so many issues on this island that I won't sleep until they are solved, like food, clean water, comfort ability, and the problem of Louis and Zayn..." my voice trailed off on the last issue.

"Toni," he said crawling over to me. He wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into a hug, and then turned me so it was a hug from behind. "Don't worry, babe, I'll help you with this. The Zayn problem will be settled today, then we can go out at night, find food, and go look for water in the morning. If we can't find water, we could always drink from the ocean right next to us." he laughed pointing at the ocean.

"Wow, why didn't I think of that?" I giggled while Harry held me.

I heard more moans. I looked over and saw Violet, Liam, and Niall waking up.

"What the hell?" Violet said loudly, causing, the other sleeping people to groan, but not wake up.

"I was fucking cold, desperate times cwll for desperate measures." I acted, and I could feel Harry laughing at me on the inside.

"Ok, lets wake everyone else up so we can head to the place." Liam smirked, because hr already knee what was happening today.

We all stood, and I silently counted to three. "1,2,3!" We all began screaming at the top of our lungs, and everyone jolted awake. Louis, Zayn, Paige, and Alexis, all stood, shaking from fear, staring at Niall, Liam, Harry, Violet, and I.

"What the hell?!" Louis yelled.

"I... We... Ahaha," I was bent over on my knees, barely breathing.

"We wanted to wake you up so we could show you the secret place." Niall winked at me. I continued to laugh hard at the scared people, who were easing up a bit.

"Well, what are we waiting for?" Zayn said raising his voice with excitement. "I'd like to see where my girl goes every morning."

That paralyzed myself, Louis, Niall, Liam, and Harry with shock. Never did I agree to be Zayn's 'girl'. Zayn continued walking as we all stood there, looking at each other. I walking, giving a look to them all that said, "don't worry.".

We walked in silence, up until Zayn said, "Why am I leading the way, I don't know where we're going."

So I stepped up, with Louis next to me, and Harry on my other side, with the other two boys behind me.

We led the way, and once we arrived, all the boys started stripping down, awkward? I followed their actions, starting with my pants then short then bra, and underwear, until I was fully naked, receiving stares from everyone, all stares from shock, like "what are you doing Toni?"

All the boys and I stood naked, until Louis said, "Fuck this!" and cannonballed into the lake. I followed with the boys behind.

When I resurfaced, I said to no one in particular, "Well, c'mon, don't be shy." I splashed up onto land, and soon, all of the girls and Zayn were stripping. I turned, not in the mood to see 3 girls and a boy nude. I felt splashes behind me, and I guessed it was Violet who jumped in. She's a daredevil.

3 more splashes came, and I turned to see everyone was in the water.

"Marco!" Louis screamed with his eyes closed. I've learned after today that Louis is terrible at swimming, and slow. Zayn is too. Louis had been tagged four times since we started this game.

"Polo!" everyone screamed. Louis was closest to Harry, and Alexis couldn't stop laughing. But even with all that, he turned to my voice, which was near the edge. He swam a little in my direction. "Marco!" he screeched.

"Polo!" we yelled back, myself not as loud. He swam toward me, and I dodged him. I swam behind Harry, and he protected me like, "don't touch her!"

"Marco!"

"Polo!" we yelled and Louis swam toward me and Harry, and Harry suddenly moved, letting me get tagged by my boyfriend. Hr opened his eyes and whispered, "Obviously I was following you." then winked.

"Curse you Harry!" I said closing my eyes and going under water for ten seconds.

When I resurfaced, I took a deep breath and yelled, "Marco!"

"Polo!" I could make out Louis's voice. I had to get him back, and this would be easy, considering he swims slow.

"Polo!" his angelic voice sang from behind me.

"Marco!" I turned around.

"Polo!" they screamed again.

"Marco!" I yelled.

"pol-" I cut him off by kissing his lips, and I could hear the gasps from the girls and Zayn. I opened my eyes and sexily whispered, "Gotcha..."

"Um, Toni, I'm over here..." Zayn said, his voice trailing off.

"Zayn, she wasn't with you." Louis said, "She loved you, I found her out here the first morning, talking to herself, thinking about you, she didn't think you liked her, then I comforted her, told her if you didn't, it was your loss. She hugged me, then we kissed, then the next morning, we were together, then yesterday morning, Liam, Harry, and Niall found out, and today, you guys did."

"So, that leech bite wasn't a leech bite, it was a hickey?" Violet laughed. I nodded.

"Go Toni!" Paige laughed. I blushed. Never thought Paige, of all people would say that.

"Why didn't you just say that? I kissed you in front of Louis, called you my girl, all that. Why didn't you say something?" he swam closer to Louis and I, who had our arms wrapped around each others waist.

"I didn't want to hurt you." I started feeling sorry for Zayn. Poor boy, we all have someone, except for him.

"I'd understand, I had no right to kiss you since we weren't together. I'm sorry, Toni and Louis." he apologized. Louis nodded, and i said, "I'm sorry too."

"Well, lets not let this dampen our awesome fun mood. Lets play another game." Harry changed the subject. Thank God for the curly headed boy!

"Marco!" Louis yelled after closing his eyes.

"Polo!"

We had gotten home, and we sitting around the fire, waiting for someone to start singing. No one did, so I had to.

"I got a pocket, got a pocket full of sunshine

Violet joined me.

Violet and I sang the main, while Liam and Niall sang the background.

Violet and I sang, Liam and Niall in the background, joined by Paige and Alexis.

Everyone let me have a solo for the last part.

Louis, Violet, Liam, and I sang the main, everyone else sang the background.

Everyone started laying down for bed. Harry and I layed down, even though we wouldn't sleep. We stared at each other, for about a half hour, until we were sure that the rest were asleep.

I stood, as did my curly haired friend, and we walked into the jungle, in search for food.

"Harry, you didn't have to stay up with me." I said, my voice barely above a whisper, even though we were far enough that we wouldn't be heard.

"I can't let you sit alone all night. Plus, I like adventures." he laughed and I smiled.

That was the last things said for awhile as we searched in trees for hanging food, or in bushes. We had eaten the last of our meat.
"Harry, look!" I pointed to a bush with a blackish purple colored berry.

"Toni, you found fucking raspberries." he said holding out his shirt so I could delicately put berries in it.

We kept searching, in hopes of something more, like even more berries.

I searched lower and Harry looked at trees, and he suddenly stopped. I looks up, and saw what appeared to be fucking bananas! I climbed the tree, only to fall back down onto a lower branch. I tried again, succeeding in grabbing a few bunches. I put them in my shirt, and climbed down.

We headed back, and when we arrived, it was barely light, but enough to see.

I dug a whole in the ground to put the berries in so they didn't get stepped on or flew away. We covered them in sand, and gross I know. We set the bananas on top so we'd know where they are.

Harry and I walked back over to the fire, satisfied with our first night. I quickly stood and grabbed a bunch of vines and twigs.

"What are ya doing Toni?" Harry asked.

"Weaving a basket to carry shit, duh."
About an hour had passed, and I had been weaving twigs in and out of other twigs, and finally I had completd something handy for carrying food. Only price was cuts and splinters.
