Luz’s P.O.V.:
I don’t know what to say. I need him, as much as before. We should be friends. We’ve never been friends. Zayn was my boyfriend from the beginning, I felt in love. We should be just friends. Whatever my heart is telling me to do. He’ll be my friend. He knows me by heart; he knows exactly how to fix me, he did it before. With the help of the others, maybe I’ll be better. Maybe I’ll change. I hope I will. I will just become normal, not who I was before, but someone better and different. Liam healed the scratches on my arm. I didn’t notice that I had done them. I was angry. Emma is just like that. Loud and mean. I had told her before: “don’t talk about anything from my past. I don’t want to hear or talk about that.” She’s mean, she loves doing that. I don’t even know why I’m friend with her. I wanted someone different in my life maybe. Not someone who cares about me, just the opposite, I didn’t want to remember anyone.
Zayn talks with me a moment, about random subjects: movies, cars, flowers or whatever. That’s the thing with Zayn. We talk about everything. I give him my phone number and he gives me his. “She won’t be mad if I call you?” I ask him raising an eyebrow. “Whatever! Call me when you need to call! I’ll just answer. Except if you call in the middle of the night to talk about a cat or something weird.” He answers smiling. “I never did something like that.” I sight, blushing. I actually did that, but I was drunk. “Suuuuure…” He says laughing. I look at him with wide eyes “I never ever ever ever ever did something like that.” They all start laughing. “I don’t know what is funny. That’s a lie. I don’t do things like that. That’s not my type.” I say starting myself to laugh. Well I’ve called all of them when I was drunk and talked onto some random shit. Alcohol has a really bad influence on my behaviour and intelligence. I should go to a club someday; I have not done that since a while! Stella asks me if she can sleep at my place. “Yep! Girls’ night. We’ll talk about your new boyfriend, that Dean… or whatever is name is.” I tell her. “His name is Sean!” She laughs. “One different letter is not a big difference Stel! And I say, whatever his name is.” I giggle.

Stella’s P.O.V.:
Finally my bestie is back. I know she’s struggling to keep going and try to be happy but she tries and that’s important. That means she admits the problem. I can’t wait to talk to her about Sean and for her to tell me things, to talk to me again as before. She stopped that the day she broke up with Zayn. She isolated herself, she didn’t want any contact with someone who could remind her Zayn I think. I hope she’ll just let me involve in her life. I need her, even though she’s younger than me. I could have treated her like a little sister, but she was more mature than I was when we met each other for the first time. She was 14 and I was 16. She was kind of a genius. We were in the same class and she had better marks than me. I have so many questions to ask her.
When everybody leaves I immediately ask her things.
“Luz?” I say.
“Hum?”
“What did you do these last years?” I ask, she looks at me, doesn’t really understand the question. “I mean, with school?”
“Oh! I have correspondence courses, I go to school only for the exams.”
“I thought you were staying here and watch movies.” I tell her giggling.
“No I don’t! I go out a lot actually, I go to libraries, to eat, with Sandra and Eric.” She tells me.
“Well, about them… Sandra and Eric are cute but the two others… they are…”
“Assholes.”
“That’s not what I wanted to use.”
“What would you want to use?” She asks laughing.
“Douchebags.”
“They’re more assholes than douchebags.”
“Why do you need to swear that much?” I ask her, she was not that rude.
“Sandra’s bad influence, she always swears.” She answers laughing.
“I prefer her to the two douchebags.” I tell her. “Eric seems to have a crush on you.”
“Well, no. Actually, he has a girlfriend and he want to ask her to marry him. Her name is Victoria and I’m the only one to know so he asks me some advice.”
“Oh Gosh! You have the big secret. That’s so cute! He’s stressing out uh?”
“Completely! Poor boy, he’s so nice and he really doesn’t know how to propose. I told him I’ll help as better as I could.” Luz says smiling.
We go to her bedroom after taking some food with us. We sit on the ground. We talk about my new boyfriend. His name is Sean Harper. I met him at school and we started hanging out each, after two months ago he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes. “Oh… that’s so cute!” Luz says with a smirk, biting an Oreo. I laugh and continue to tell her my new love story. She’s finally back, for the moment, she lets me speak, but with some patience, she’ll start talk to me again. I don’t know when we fall asleep, but we stay on the ground until the morning. I wake up at 9 in the morning, and run because I got to go at my place to have a shower and change clothes before going to school. Luz laughs at me, watching me panicking and yelling around that she should have waked me up.
