Broken Record.

Me and Harry managed to catch up with the rest of the group just as Jen came ou of the toilets, her eyes puffy. I noticed Pagen scowl and Niall sobbed. Louis looked up glaring at the same ime Zayn and Liam averted their attention, Harry looked at me and kept his head down, I knew he was trying to contain his rage. I needed to speak to Jennifer alone but I wanted her to see what she did was so wrong.
"Jennie, Listen-" I began.
"No Marina, I dont want to hear of how much of a fuck up I am okay? You want to know the reason I did what I did? Because I don't have one. I love Niall, or I did, something happened and everything changed and suddenly Shane came along and cheered me up, I did tell him I was single yeah because I knew he wouldn't go ahead with it if I had told him about Niall, and I didn't want him to do it to pull one over on Niall because I wanted someone to want me for who I am."
"And how did I not want you for 'who you were' Jennifer?! I loved you, Shane is like fucking family actually and you tore my heart out! I fucking loved you so much and you did this to me!!!" Niall shouted, tears streaming down his face. "Do you even regret it?" He asked much quieter.
"No I dont. I love Shane." She spoke looking up. "And he loves me." I was so confused, Niall and Jen were so in love, what on earth is she blabbing about. "I saw you Ni, I saw you with C-Cara..."
Wait what. Pagen looked at me to ask if she meant our cousin Cara or slut whore Cara, I shook my head to inform her. Niall visibly paled at her words.
"No jen, you didn't or you would have seen me push her away. Tell her I only ever want you." He took out a small velvet box and threw it at her. "I was going to do it this weekend. I would have promised to love you forever and hold you when you needed me most, even when you didn't because holding you was what made me smile. My promise is broken, I am broken" He sobbed and ran off, Harry tensed his arms around my waist and everyone but Liam stood with mouths gaping open. Jen looked at the box laying by her feet and surely enough a beautiful ring sat inside, a small infinity sign carved into the silver band. She looked up at me with tears in her eyes and gave me the box. "Tell him I-I'm sorry" She sobbed and ran outside. No one moved to go after her, we moved in search for Niall, I was almost crying again myself, how could she do that? He was such a nice boyfriend to her, I though she... nevermind.



~Niall~
I couldn't even believe myself, I let myself fall so hard. I was almost sure she felt the same, after eight months of loving a person and them being your world, hearing that it was a lie and they didn't even regret it makes you feel dead inside. I would never forget the look on her face as I turned to walk away, it was realisation and utter shock. Pagen looked like she was going to be sick and I hated crying infront of the lads. Rina stood stock still with tears in her eyes, I chuckle to myself, only I would still observe other people while me world was falling down. I sat on the bleachers in the gym with my head hanging low when the door snapped open. I hoped it wasn't Shane, I would forgive him for this because it wasn't his fault, but still. It hurt. I wiped my tears away and looked up. Rina stood infront of me tucking the recognisable box into her bag. She looked ready to cry, she approached me arms wide and I slid into her arms as she rubbed my back telling me it was going to be okay. I knew it wouldn't but I wouldn't tell her that.
"Nialler, I'm so sorry. I can't even comprehend to know how you must feel, I will always be here if you need to talk though alright? No matter what" She smiled and fluffed my hair up. We sat talking for about half an hour until Pagen burst in the room looking all kinds of flustered, she was beautiful, dark hair cascading in curling waves over her petite frame, Rina was fucking beautiful, but the small frame of her slightly older cousin made me think I would give up pizza to hold her. Maybe. I love pizza. She looked at the situation here and gulped.
"Um... Rina Harry wants to know if...." She was cut off by Harry walking into the room and sighing in relief. The two walked over to us. She awkwardly smiled and I decided I wanted to get to know her better. Definitley. You just got out of a serious relationship you twat.
