Broken Record.

We drove in silence until the whole landscape around our car changed, i noticed the green turn to gray and back to green, we had been driving fast for at least 30 minutes. Louis looked a little worried still but the further from the school building we got the further he seemed to calm, the house sizes changed from small to large, then small and all of a sudden I was in some sort of English version of Hollywood homes, like seriously these houses looked as though they belonged on TV shows such as MTV:Cribs, not just out of the countryside. Louis began to slow outside of huge black gates that lead to a house hidden behind trees and up a stone path. As Louis punched numbers into a box the gates swung open, we barely had time to drive through before they snapped closed again. Instead of driving to the humongous house now in my view he took a sharp turn left and we were surrounded by sports cars, motorbikes but mostly Range Rovers and the odd black SUV. A small voice in my head wanted to know what the future uses of that dark object held. Was my dad involved?

"Rina!" A familiar voice shouted, despite that voice soothing me throughout the years it made me flinch, did I even really know my own father... A strong set of arms wrapped around me and just like old times I buried my face into his chest, it want until he began rubbing my back and soothing me that I realised that I was crying, sobbing really. Louis had left and my dad was choking up trying to wipe away my panicked tears. I did want answers and no doubt this hidden side of my dad would give them, but right now I just wanted comforting, I wanted my daddy. "it's alright baby, it's alright" he repeated, I didn't know if he was trying to soothe me or soothe himself, but it was working, a few shaky breathes after the storm that was my emotional breakdown I had fully stopped crying, i had a headache and I knew I was still scared but I felt ...numb. The only time you feel this numb is when you have sobbed your eyes dry and you body shuts down, or in my case, after I cut.

We got into the house and my dad left me waiting in the foyer after a small man had scurried up to him telling him someone called Bobby needed his help downstairs, he promised his return as soon as he could and left with a sigh muttering words under his breathe. I was just taking in the surroundings of the beautiful marble foyer, the large tapestries lining the walls and blue and gold swirling everywhere, the large symbol on the floor in rich royal blues and gold, the golden snake wrapping in an infinity sign caught my eye just as I was engulfed in a tight embrace. I screamed, pretty loud as a booming voice came bouncing off of the beautiful walls.
"Rina! You had me so worried, we were all worried, I'm so glad you are okay" The colossal man grinned, my mind automatically began making comparisons of where I have seen eyes like that... hair like that colour... This man was Harry's dad. He had to be, or he was just a spitting image of the boy. But how did he know me? Oh... dad. "I'm Des, you probably won't remember me but I have watched you grow up. I have never seen your dad so shaken up, I'm sorry that it had to be under these circumstances that you find out about... us" he gushed, he also had a smile that you couldn't help but grin back at, he was also extremely tall and broad. His shoulders were double my size and being five foot eight I thought I was tall, and pretty broader then most girls but along side his son and every male I seem to meet recently, I felt tiny, but oddly safe. "Yeah oh and I'm Harry's dad, but your scary staring makes me think you might have already guessed." He winked and tugged me behind him through the hallway of the room and up a flight of stairs. Here goes nothing.
