Broken Record.

"Rina, your gonna be late" Holly softly shook my shoulder, honestly it felt like she was about to pop it out of place, how a six year old had that much strength I do not know.

"Okay Hol" I grumble

"Oh and Char-Char is waiting downstairs because mummy and daddy have already left for work."




*Ten minutes later*
"Marina-Rose Williams!"
"What!"
"You're gonna be late!" Charlotte shouts, I understand how tired she must be, my nephew Luke is going through an awkward stage of being five and asking too many questions and her belly is getting bigger as the baby girl grows inside. Yet here she is, collecting Holly and I for school even though I have told her I'm old enough to walk now (being almost 16) she still insists on driving me. As I leap down the stairs I notice the black make-up covering up the already dark rings of her eyes and sigh to myself, it's always harder when Craig goes away, being an oil-rigger he works monthly and so she had to say goodbye just a couple weeks ago. I know his work pays well, like really well but still, she's heavily pregnant and him being this far away just makes life 10x harder for her.

"What took you so long?" She asks whilst peering into the fridge. Oh you know, just putting on my bracelets to cover my arms that I ruin with sharp objects because I'm a shitty human

"Well I had to do my make-up, hair.."
"Make-up yeah but don't lie to me, you haven't even brushed that" She laughs while gesturing to my mid-long ginger/brown hair, which was curly in a natural, messy kind of way.
"Shut up! Not everyone can loo like they have just walked off of a catwalk!" I laugh back, it's true, Charlotte has jet black hair, blue eyes and perfect cheekbones, a figure to die for-even pregnant- and she is small. She is the definition of beauty and it's shit standing next to her!
Lets get to school then.
