“Why do you keep looking at me like that?!” Emily snapped, after I looked at her.

I was shocked, Em never snapped at me like that before. Heck, she never snapped at anyone unless you did something very wrong. Oh god.. I wonder what I did.

“I’m sorry. I just wanted to know what was wrong.” I said quietly.

“Yeah well you should know what’s wrong!” She said as I parked up to my house. She got out of the car and banged the door shut before I could reply. I watched as she walked inside.

I tried to think of everything I did wrong to her in the past few hours. I’m pretty sure I didn’t do anything. We shopped, we talked, we laughed, and we had fun. Oh but then – wait – she looked kind of upset when I came out of the dressing room when I tried on the dress.

I looked at the time and realized it had been 5 minutes since Em went inside and I was still in the car. I sighed and got out of the car. I locked the door and went inside.

I saw that Em was in the kitchen, so I went in.

She looked at me, as did Beck. I think she told him, what’s wrong, which is weird because I still don’t know what’s wrong.

I have to say something, but what do I say? I have never been afraid to talk to Em before.

“Hey… Um… Can I talk to you Em?” I said nervously, hoping she wasn’t going to snap at me again.

She sighed and looked at Beck. He looked at her and nodded.

What’s going on?

She looked back at me and nodded.

I sighed in relief. Thank god she didn’t snap or get mad.

I motioned for her to come upstairs with me.



Em’s P.O.V –

I followed her upstairs to her bedroom, she closed the door behind me and we sat down, she was sitting on her bed and I was sitting on her chair.

“Em?” Tori asked, trying to get my attention.

“Hmm?” I hummed looking up at her.

“Are you gonna tell me what’s wrong?” she asked.

“When were you going to tell me? Or were you going to tell me? Or were you gonna keep it a secret from me?” I asked her. She looked so confused.

“Em, what are you talking about?” She asked, having no clue what im saying.

“When were you going to tell me you and Zayn are dating?” I asked.

“huh?” she said still confused. After a few seconds she realized what I was saying.

“oh, we –“ she cut herself off, “I mean how do you know?”

I furrowed my eyebrows. I wonder what she was actually going to say.

I took the magazine out of my bag, “I saw it in this.” I said throwing the magazine in her bed.

She looked at the magazine, and her face looked surprised as if she just realized whats going on.

“Oh.” Was all she said.

“Were you going to tell me?” I asked her.

“Yeah of course.” She said, not looking at me.

“Well when were you going to tell me?” I asked.

She looked up at me and said, “I wasn’t sure myself, what was going on Em. Please don’t be mad at me.”

“I’m not. I just wish you had told me, instead of me finding out like this, in a magazine.” I said.

I looked up at her, to see her looking guilty, now I felt bad, though its not my fault right?

“I’m really sorry Em.” She said.

I was going to reply but there was a knock on the door.



Beck’s P.O.V

“Beck, go and tell Tori and Emily to get ready, were leaving to restaurant in 10 minutes.” My mum said to me.

“Ok mum.” I said, and went upstairs to tell the girls.

I was about to knock when I heard them talking so I waited.

“I wasn’t sure myself, what was going on Em. Please don’t be mad at me.” I heard Tori say

“I’m not. I just wish you had told me, instead of me finding out like this, in a magazine.” Em said.

Oh, they were talking about that picture with Tori and I think it was Zayn. I was quite surprised myself when Em showed me that. Tori didn’t even tell me, she usually tells me, when she dates a guy.

“I’m really sorry Em.” She said.

I didn’t want to listen to anymore, so I knocked on the door.

“Come in.” I heard Tori say.
