Bella's P.O.V

My sister and I don't live in the safest part of the town, but its all we could afford thanks to our good for nothing parents. We weren't expecting them to leave, but one day they just up and left us. We didn't have any money and didn't have any other family or friends. The only thing our parents left us was a car, at least we had that. It was an old 1975 Mustang. Right after we graduated high school we had to find jobs to support ourselves. There were only 2 jobs available, a babysitter and a waitress. My sister, Mona, chose the babysitting job because shes better with kids, while i'm the waitress. I know my way with words, I can trick anyone into anything. Literally, that's how I got this job. Anyways, after work I would go pickup Mona like usual. But this time when I picked her up the car wouldn't start up, so we had to walk home. In the dark. Fantastic. "Well that's just great!" I yelled. I got out of the car, slamming the door and walked around to the front of the car. I lifted up the hood to see what was wrong with this old piece of crap, "Whats wrong Bells, everything alright?" Mona asked from inside the car."Everything's just great Mona" I said with sarcasm. She got out of the car and slammed the hood down. "What the Hell Mona! You could have chopped my fingers off!" I yelled. "Well I didn't, so we're just have to walking home" she said. Awesome... As we walked home I could hear footsteps behind us, its just the wind I told myself. So I kept on walking, ignoring the sound of footsteps approaching us."Bells!" Mona whispered-shouted."What" I said to her."I think they're following us!" "Who?" I asked. "Them!" she pointed." No Mona! Don't do that!" I whispered. But it was to late, they started to run after us."Run!" I yelled, we ran as fast as we could. We ran into an alley hoping they wouldn't follow us."Bella!" she cried, I looked behind me. Oh no. They're getting closer, "Mona hurry up!" I yelled. As I looked back, I tripped and fell. Well that's just great."Bells?" Mona was slowing down. "Keep running, i'm right behind you!" I said, trying to keep my voice from shaking. I stood up, dusting the myself off when I notice a large man standing behind me. He grabbed me before I had the chance to scream, he put a cloth over my face. They last thing I saw before the world faded was Mona getting tackled and pinned to the ground.
