Untouchable
Chapter 7
“Hey beautiful.” Louis whispered as I walked into the auditorium first period, pulling me to the side where nobody could see.
“Hey.” I blushed.
He wrapped his hands securely around my waist, looking me in the eye. “Sorry about last night.”
I rolled my eyes. “No, I’m sorry. My mom is just…” I trailed off.
“She cares about you.” He smiled. “I wouldn’t want my daughter with a naughty college boy like me, either?”
“Naughty?” I raised by eyebrows and giggled.
He glanced up at the clock and then pressed his lips to my jaw, leaving tiny kisses. “Can I see you tonight?”
“Yes.” I breathed softly, making sure nobody could hear.
“Meet me here after school?” He murmured into my skin.
“Alright.” I smiled, backing off.
“Good morning, class!” Mr. Andrews said.
I gave him a smirk and then stepped out from where we were hiding, heading to my seat.
“You’re tardy, Malory!” Mr. A said.
“Sorry,” I blushed. “I was talking to Lou- Mr. Tomlinson.”
He shot me a confused look, and then went on with his teaching.
God, I needed to be more careful.

“So, what are we doing tonight?” Claire asked.
I looked at her. “Uhm, what? We had plans?”
She threw me a disgusted look. “We always hang out on Fridays. Hello, Mal, are you there? Get your head out of the clouds. What’s gotten into you?”
I shook my head. “I’m just stressed with school.” I stuttered. “I have a big test and I have to study tonight.”
She rolled her eyes. “Study tomorrow.”
“Why can’t we hang out tomorrow?”
Her jaw dropped as if I had just said something horrifying. “I have a date with Matt. God, Malory, do you even listen to me?”
I sighed. “Sorry my world isn’t always about you, Claire.”
She gasped. “Well, sorry you have to lie to your so-called best friend about everything.”
She had a point. “I-I’m sorry. You just don’t understand.”
“Obviously not. I thought we told each other everything.” She rolled her eyes and walked away. She was such a diva, she’d be over it in an hour or so, though.
I exhaled deeply before slamming my locker shut.
“You okay?”
I jumped and turned around to see Louis smirking at my little outburst against my locker.
“People are just… annoying.” I laughed, blushing.
He took a step closer to me, and glanced down the hall. No one was there. He took my hand gently in his.
“So, what do you want to do tonight?” He smirked.
I shrugged. “Anything, really.”
We heard footsteps coming from down the hall and he quickly dropped my hand.
“Let’s go to the auditorium?” He said.
We walked down the hall, awkwardly, looking around. The halls were pretty empty, but a lot of students were leaving, so we both knew we couldn’t go outside yet.
Louis locked the door behind us and immediately threw his arms around me, his lips crashing onto mine.
“Do you… know… how hard… it is… to see you… all day… and not… be able to do this?” He said in between kisses.
I nodded in agreement, not being able to speak. Just his scent, his touch, his taste, was so overwhelming, I couldn’t think straight. I could never think straight when I was around him.
He pulled away. “I-I’m sorry.” He shook his head.
“What’s wrong?” I asked, confused.
He took a few steps back, and I grabbed his hand, pulling him closer and putting it on my waist. I usually wasn’t bold like this before, but with him, I was like a completely different person.
“It-it’s just.. “ He trailed off.
“Louis, you can tell me anything.”
He shrugged. “I’m your teacher, Mal. I could get in so much trouble for this. I’m irresponsible, wrong, inappropriate, and just out of line.” He stopped what he was saying and looked me directly in the eye. “But it doesn’t matter. All that matters is how strongly I feel for you. Being around you, Malory, I-I can’t even come to the words to explain it. I’ve read thousands of different work, classic literature, about love and romance. Yet nothing I read has ever explained love the way I feel for you. I never knew I could fall so hard for a girl. I’ve had girlfriends, but with you, it’s just… different. I don’t know what it is. I don’t know why it’s so special, it just is. My connection with you is more deep and personal than with anybody else, even though I’ve only known you for a few weeks. Even though we have to pretend absolutely nothing is happening between us, which is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.”
“I guess we are like Romeo and Juliet, aren’t we?” I smiled slightly.
He placed his hand on my cheek. “Exactly. But we’re going to make this work. This isn’t a tragedy.”
I smiled at him, but I wasn’t quite sure.
“So, what are we doing tonight?” I asked him.
He shrugged. “I was thinking we could just go to my place..?” He smirked and wrapped his hands around my waist, leaning in and leaving soft kisses on my neck. “Oh, damn it.” He slammed his palm into his forehead. “The roomies are in tonight.”
“Your roommates will be there?”
He nodded, rolling his eyes.
“Well.. we could go to my house?” I said.
He smiled. “Erm, babe, I don’t think your mom really likes me.”
“Oh no, she doesn’t.” I stuck my tongue out. “I mean my dad’s!”
His eyes widened. “Uh, I don’t know if meeting your dad is the best idea..” He trailed off.
I rolled my eyes and laughed. “My mom didn’t say anything to him, they don’t talk. Plus he’s never around!”
He exhaled deeply. “Okay.” He smiled. “Do you think we could leave now?” We walked to the door to see an empty parking lot.
“One last kiss before we go out.” He smiled and pressed his lips to mine. “Okay. That should last me a good 10 minutes.” He winked and we walked out to his car.
We pulled up in the driveway to my dad’s house. I unlocked the front door and checked to make sure nobody was home.
“Daad? Anyone here?” I smiled before grabbing Louis by the arm and pulling him inside.
I ran my fingers through his hair, turning him and pressing him against the wall, kicking the door shut with my foot.
“Are you sure about this?” He asked.
“Louis, trust me, he’s never home.”
“Hey.” I blushed.
He wrapped his hands securely around my waist, looking me in the eye. “Sorry about last night.”
