Untouchable
Chapter 6
“Seriously, Mal?” You can’t ignore me forever.” Claire muttered, standing at my locker.
“I told you, it’s nothing!”
“Coming back to class with a hickey is nothing?!”
“It’s.. a rash.” I mumbled.
“My ass.” She rolled her eyes. “I thought we were best friends, why are you lying to me?”
Because I can’t trust you.
“I’m not lying about anything, there’s nothing to say!” I had to get rid of her quickly, school was over and I had to meet up with Mr. Tomlin- Louis. I had to correct myself in my head. He wasn’t just my teacher anymore.
We were standing at my locker, arguing, when Louis walked by. We made eye contact and he raised his eyebrows and smirked. Claire turned around to look at who I was smiling at.
“I thought you hated him.”
“He’s alright.”
She rolled her eyes. “Whatever, Mal. Call me when you want to tell me the truth.” She strutted away with as much attitude as she could possibly produce.
I wanted to tell her, I really did. I wanted to brag, show her that I could get a guy, might I add, a hot, older, perfect guy. But if anyone found out what was going on between me and Louis, we’d never be able to see each other again, not to mention how much trouble he’d get in.
I opened the auditorium doors, but it was empty. Where did he go? I just saw him walk this way.
The door slammed behind me and his strong arms wrapped tightly around me from behind.
“Gotcha.” He whispered in my ear. He spun me around and planted his lips on mine, hands traveling down my waist.
“Louis.” I giggled as his lips moved down to my favorite spot on my neck.
He smiled into my skin, pulling me in as close as possible by my waist.
“Hey, Tommo?” Mr. Andrews called from the back room.
We immediately jumped off of each other. “Yeah?” He blushed.
He appeared in the doorway. “Oh! Malory’s here!” He smiled warmly. “You’re here quite often, love the dedication! What are you two working on?”
“Romeo and Juliet.” Louis said smugly.
“A classic.” Mr. A smiled. “I was actually just leaving, let me know how it goes!”
“See ya, Mr. A!” I said.
He left and we both looked at each other, still blushing from almost getting caught.
“Maybe we should actually work on this..” Louis smirked, picking up a script.
“Alright.” I smiled.
“We’ll go back to my place later,” He said in a low tone. “We just have to wait until the school clears out first.”
We actually did get about a half hour of practice done, but we got distracted. Somehow we ended up laying down on the stage, just talking.
“Romeo and Juliet is so stupid.” I blurted.
“Why?” He laughed.
“Because they’re both stupid.”
“You’re so weird.” He laughed. “They’re stupid because they’re in love.”
“Well look at how well that turned out!”
He sat up. “We’re kind of like Romeo and Juliet.”
“Louis, that isn’t a good thing.”
“Why not?”
“They both die.”
He laughed. “Well besides that! I mean, we can’t be together but we want to be. That type of thing, you know?”
I sighed. “I understand.”
He sat there, looking at me, laying there on the ground. I stared into his deep, perfect blue eyes. I could look at him for ages. His lips curved up into a soft smile.
“Let’s hope our story doesn’t end like theirs, though.” I added after a minute or so.
He laughed, but then became serious. “It won’t.” He checked the clock. “We could probably go now, don’t you think?”
I sat up. “Sure.”
He pulled me up by my hands and gave me a soft, gentle kiss. We went to the back door, but had to break all contact just in case someone happened to be around. We quickly walked to his car. I could tell how uncomfortable he was, so nervous that someone was around. The parking lot was nearly empty, and no people were outside. I slid into the passenger seat, not knowing how to act. After we left the parking lot and drove a few minutes, he started to loosen up.
“Louis, where do you live?” I said when I realized we were going directly out of town.
“About 20 minutes south, is that alright?”
Not really. My mom didn’t even know that I wasn’t coming straight home, let alone going to a guy’s house a half hour away, let alone that guy being my teacher.
“Yeah.” I smiled, pulling out my phone to text her that I was going to a friend’s.
The car ride was pretty quiet, I couldn’t help but wonder to myself if he was regretting what he was doing.
We pulled up to an average sized house with 2 cars already parked in the driveway.
“Who’s cars are those?” I asked.
He smiled. “They’re my roommates, but they’re not here, don’t worry.” He got out of the car and opened the door for me, taking my hand and leading me to the front door. Before he unlocked the door, he turned and gave me a long, gentle kiss.
“Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.” He smirked. “It’s nice being able to kiss you and not having to worry about who’ll see.”
I blushed and followed him inside. He gave me a tour of the place, a very cozy little house. He took my hand and brought me up the narrow staircase, which led to just one door.
“I have the best room in the house.” He winked. “Most private, too.” He opened the door to reveal his bedroom, just how I’d imagined it to be. Fairly neat and organized, there was a small desk in the corner for his school work, the half-made bed, a beautiful large window that let the sun shine through and reflect off the white blankets onto the baby blue walls.
We sat on his bed and talked for a while. And by a while, I mean hours. It seemed like we had known each other forever, but we barely knew anything about each other, really. We talked about his studies, he was going to become an English teacher. He talked about his family who lived hours away, and how he missed them.
“What about your family?” He asked.
I rolled my eyes. “If you can even call it that.” I mumbled.
“Why?”
I shrugged. “My parents got a divorce, and they’re both pretty messed up.” I said it in a more stern tone than I had meant to, and he just left it at that. After an awkward silence, I grabbed the tv remote from the side table and turned it on, scrolling through channels.
I was focusing so intently on finding something good to watch, that I didn’t even notice Louis staring at me. Out of nowhere his lips came crashing onto mine, his body moving closer to mine, and eventually on top of me. My fingers wrapped around his neck, tugging on his hair gently as our mouths worked together. His hands trailed down my waist, sending electric shocks throughout my body. He stroked my thighs, wrapping them around his waist, hands moving inwards. His lips trailed down to my collarbones, sucking and kissing just where he had earlier that day in the storage closet, the spot that drove me absolutely wild. His hands moved back up to my waist, lifting my hips and making me arch my back, our crotches now grinding together incessantly. I tried to hide my gasp, I had never done anything serious like this before. I was so young and naïve, Louis was old and mature, and definitely experienced. He knew what he was doing.
“Are you okay?” He breathed.
“Yeah.” I nodded my head, pulling his head up and bringing his lips back to mine. I wanted him, all of him. Every piece of him, I wanted to be mine. We always want what we can’t have, and that’s what I wanted. What I needed.
My fingers slid under the thin material of his v-neck shirt, feeling his toned stomach around his waistline. I moved up further, feeling his abs, and how his muscles moved to my touch.
He didn’t need a bigger invitation, he removed his hands from my body and lifted off his shirt and threw it behind him, crushing his lips onto mine, as if the 3 seconds they were apart were absolute torture. This time it was his hands that did the exploring, sliding under my light blouse and moving up to my bra.
The doorbell rang.
“Ughhhhh.” He moaned, getting off of me. “I’ll be right back.”
He was pulling his shirt over his head when I reached to check my phone. Shit, it was already 8:30?
Mom: Where are you?
Mom: Malory, you’re grounded.
Mom: Answer your phone.
Mom: I’m coming to get you.
“Fuck.” I ran down the stairs, readjusting my shirt. “Louis, don’t answer the do-“
“Hello?” He said as he opened the door.
I ran up from behind him, to my dismay, seeing my mother at the door.
“Malory, let’s go.” She said sternly.
“Mom, why are you here?”
“Because it’s late and you didn’t tell me where you were. Come with me, now.” He glared.
I couldn’t even try to hide my embarrassment. My cheeks were glowing bright red as I walked past Louis and out the door. I gave him an apologetic look and he waved sadly. This couldn’t get any worse. I was trying to be mature for my age, and I had my mommy stalking us and taking me home. I slid into the passengers seat, not making any eye contact with either my mom or Louis, still standing in the front door.
She slammed her car door and backed out of the driveway.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?!” She yelled.
“I was just at my friend’s house..” I trailed off.
“Why do you have a friend that’s in college?” She asked. I glanced up, furrowing my eyebrows. How did she know? “This is the neighborhood right next to the school, for only college students.” She rolled her eyes.
“How did you know I was here?”
“You have a tracking device on your phone.”
I slammed my hand to my forehead. “Seriously, mom? Why can’t you just trust me? Stop treating me like a little kid!”
“You are a kid! You’re only 16 years old, Malory. You are not seeing this college guy.”
“I’m a teenager, mom. I’m not a kid. I’m old enough to make my own decisions.” I said sternly.
“Not when you’re living in my house, you’re not.”
“Well thank god I’m with dad most weekends.” I muttered under my breath.
I pulled out my phone to text Claire, when I got a message. From Louis? I just realized I never asked for his number. He must’ve taken my phone and programmed it in there.
“I told you, it’s nothing!”
“Coming back to class with a hickey is nothing?!”
