Chapter seven
*Harry's pov before coffee*
"Yeah and you wanna tell me you're not thinking about another girl!", I heard Lucy say.
I turned around and looked in Lucy's angry and at the same time hurt face.
"She ... she's just a friend, no worry!", I said and put my arm gently around her shoulders.
"You know Harry, after we broke up, I could've had ANY boy, but I didn't, out of respect that it could hurt you!!!", she sounded as if she was about to cry.
"You did what?! I... I didn't know that! I mean how could I, but I'm sorry Lucy, but I really have to go... we talk later... Ok?", I said, turned around and walked to my car.
"Yeah! Go to your "Just-a-friend-girl" and leave me here alone! It's not like I would care that my ex is dating another girl just a month after we broke up! I... I... ahhhh just GO!!!!", she screamed and bursted out in tears, I didn't know what to do, so I just quickly turned around and whispered, "I'm sorry. We talk later."
*Harry's pov in the car, after coffee*
We got in the car and I started the engine, we drove a few minutes without saying anything, but I could feel Taylor's curious and expectant look on me.
"Ok, so Lucy is my co-worker in the bakery and also my... ex... umm and unfortunately she heard me talking to you on the phone and she... she like started shouting and crying and I, I know that's not very nice of me, but I quickly took her in my arms and then I just walked away... and I told her that we would talk later... So yeah that's it", I said.
"Oh so then you broke up just recently...", Taylor said.
"A month ago or something, yeah!", I answered, feeling more and more uncomfortable, I don't want her to think that she's just another girl like Lucy said.
"Oh I'm sorry for that.", she said.
"No need to, I'm happier without her and if we didn't break up, I probably wouldn't be sitting here with you right now.", I said smiling, I think that would convince her of not being just another girl. She smiled too.
"Well then, lucky me!", she grinned, I started laughing and she laughed too, her warm and wonderful laugh.
After we calmed down we already had three quarters of the way behind us and I didn't know what to talk about, so I asked her about this new job she got.
"Well it looks pretty cool there actually, free drinks for me and the manager is really nice too.", she said smiling.
"Sounds okay!", I said, it actually sounded better than okay but I didn't liked the thought of a "really nice" manager...
"It's better than okay Hazz, it's AWARD WINNIG!", she said and started laughing uncontrollably.
"I... I'm... I'm soo sorry... but I just thought of your "Best song e... ever".... video... and.... omg sorry", she gasped between laughter.
I smiled, "You remember EVERYTHING, don't you?!", I said, "Umm... yeah I think so.", she answered, she had calmed down and sounded a but embarrassed.
* * *Taylor's pov * * *
"So we're here", Harry said.
"Yeah, umm thank you for driving me here and good luck with Lucy.", I said.
"Would you mind give me your number, so I don't have to wait for you to call me?", "Haha sure!", I answered smiling.
"Thx", Harry said and leaned over to give me a sight kiss on my cheek.
I didn't wanted him to stop, I felt thousands of butterflies swirling in my stomach. He leaned back and we looked in each others eyes.
Then he leaned over again and I closed the gap between us, when our lips touched I felt a firework exploding in my whole body. His lips were soft and warm and he smelled god damn good. When we stopped kissing, I recognized that my cheeks blushed like crazy, but not only mine...
"Thx for the lift.", I than said shy, "Bye!", I got out of the car waved quickly and he drove off.
