Will she make it?
Chapter fourteen
*Taylor's pov*
*ring ring*, my eyes fluttered open, *ring ring*, I shut off my alarm, *ring ring*, what the hell was that when not my alarm I thought and stood up when I realized it was the doorbell, "I'm coming!", I yelled walked through the corridor and opened the door, it was John holding a bouquet of flowers in his hands.
"Omg! John! I'm sorry I look horrible!", I said standing there with my messy hair, without any makeup and with only a large shirt and some boxers on.
"No you look wonderful!", he said and handed me the flowers, "Come in!", I said and led him into my kitchen, where the washing up from yesterday was still waiting to be made.
"What are you doing here anyways?", I asked, while putting the flowers into a vase and filling it up with water, "Well I wanted to surprise you and take you on an date since we have to work the evenings!", "Awwwee that's pretty cute!", I told him, "I just quickly take a shower and get dressed, do you want anything to drink or eat?", "Sure and yes could I have a tea please?", he asked politely, "Ok!", I said and took out a kettle to boil the water, "No wait I'll do that, go and get ready!", "Oh thank you honey, the tea is on that shelf and if you need anything just call me!", is aid and pointed at a high shelf on the other side of the room.
I walked out the kitchen, picked a cute flower dress from my wardrobe and went to the bathroom.
After the showering and dressing I put on makeup, styled my hair with a lovely braid and went back into the kitchen where John was just pour tea in two cups, I sat down next to him and sipped at my tea, it was black tea, my favorite!
After the tea he took my hand, we left the house and got in his cute "Mini".
"Where are we going?", I questioned, longing to know, "You'll see you curious little girl!", he said laughing.
After a ten minute car drive he finally parked at the bottom of a hill, John took a bag from the back seats, we got out of the car and started walking up the hill, well actually John pulled me the whole way up because I was too tired to walk on my own. When we reached the top I couldn't believe what I saw, below us was a river which meandered its way through the grass, here and there where a few trees offering a bit of shade. It was stunning!
"Come on!", John said, I jumped on his back and together we ran down to the river.
We sat down under a huge willow and he took out a picnic rug, fruits, drinks, chocolate and a bunch of other tasty things.
We lay there in the grass eating all those tasty things, laughing and just enjoying the moment, when he jumped up, picked up a empty bottle and said he would be back in a minute, I nodded and closed my eyes, I felt the warm sun on my skin prickle when suddenly something cold splashed in my face, IT WAS WATER, I opened my eyes and saw that John had filled up the empty bottle with some water from the river, well as I said he had filled it, now it was empty once again.
"Ohhh.. you'll pay for that!", I squealed, jumped up and ran after him, I caught up with him and pushed him into the water, "Brrrrr... come here beauty!", he said laughing as he surfaced from the water. He got out of it quickly and chased after me. He grabbed me by the waist, threw me over his shoulder, I hammered on his back with my fists, "Let me down! Let me down John!" and squealed and laughed at the same time but he ran with me into the water.
"Ahhh!", I yelled when I felt the cold water touching my skin! I swam over to John, who just surfaced from the water and pushed him back in again, just a second later I was up on his shoulders and I gave him a litte kiss on his hair crown, "Best date ever!", I whispered and smiled, he got out of the water, me still on his shoulders.
Then he set me down on our picnic rug, "Take this!", he said, throwing his hoodie to me, "You'll get a cold without it!", "Awww it's cute how you're worried about me!", I said I said and slipped the sweater over my head.
He sat down right next to me and pulled his arm around my shoulder, while I leaned against his, he looked down at me and I glanced up to him.
With his other free hand he took my face in his hand and kissed me, first soft and gentle but then his tongue flicked into my mouth, I closed my eyes and I returned his kiss, our tongues were licking over each others. The next thing I noticed was that we were laying on the picnic blanket, my hands ruffling trough his blonde hair, his one hand on my waist, the other stroked my face, we were making out really intensive.
We broke out of our kiss and I looked only in the eyes for a moment and he stared back.
I smiled.
He smiled.
