Chapter 2

"No Lou! I don't want to meet the other guys!" I whined as I tried to pull away from his grasp. I was still cuddled up in his coat and at the moment we where walking up a long flight of stairs in a giant fancy building.

"Oh shush up, and stop complaining!" Louis chuckled as he took one last step before approaching a long hall way.

"Louissssss." I groan loudly. "Please put me down." I pulled away slightly to look him in the face as I stuck my bottom lip out in a pout.

"Aha, yeah, that doesn't work on me!" He smirked to himself in triumph as I finally gave up and flopped my head back down on his chest..

"Lou-"

"Oh, just shut up and get over it." Louis chuckled as he knocked on a door. I gulped nervously and hid my face in Louis' neck. "Awwww! Is some one nervous!?"

"Merbey." I mumbled incoherently, huffing lightly as I could hear the door open. To be honest, I was really excited to meat the boys, secretly I may or may not have been obsessing over them sense the beginning of the X Factor.

"Oh, hey Louis!" A happy Liam sang as Louis walked in and closed the door behind him.

"Who's that you got with you?" Liam questioned.

"Oh, This is Bethany! Say Hi Bethany!" Louis shook his shoulder and nudged my head with his chin.

I slowly lifted my head up and peered at Liam with a slight smile. "Hi."

"Hi!" Liam chirped happily. "I'm guessing your a friend of Louis." I smiled and nodded, moving out of Louis grasp and straitening out my shirt as I stood awkwardly in front of the two.

"Yeah, I'm an old friend oh his." I smiled, bumping hips with Louis in the process. "My names Bethany."

"Ahh, nice to meet you Bethany, I'm Liam." I watched as he politely stuck his hand out for me to shake. I placed my hand in Liams, his large hand engulfing my small one, causing my tummy to erupt with butterflys. Calm down Bethany, you still got three more to go.

"Alright, lets go meet the other lads shall we!" Louis grabbed my hand excitedly as we both followed Liam into a giant room where three more boys sat.

"Hey guys, Louis' back-" Liam shouted, unable to finish his sentance though as Louis cut him off.

"And I brought a friend!"

I bit my lip nervously as Louis bounced up and down happily.

"Why hello there, Lovely." Harry blurted, startling me slightly. I giggled taking in his current state. His curls flopped in his face as he struggled to push Zayn and Niall off him while they where all sprawled out on the floor in front of the TV, game controlers in hand.

"Um, hi..." My face grew hot as I hid behind Louis, standing on my tippy toes to peer over his shoulder.

"Guys, this is Bethany!" Louis beamed.

"Vas Happenin Bethany!?"

"Ello!"

"I like food!"

"Come on, don't be shy now!"

I squealed and blushed furiously as Louis pulled me out from behind him and pushed me over towards the couch. I nervously sat down and watched as the boys scrambled to their feet, placing their controllers on a small coffee table that was set to the side.

"Alright lads, I hope you don't mind, but Bethany here is having some family issues and I invited for her to come and stay with us for the time being!" Louis through his arms in the air with a big smile plastered on his face as he spoke, giving me a reassuring smile as I fidgeted around nervously. "So, what do you say?"

I bit my lip, twiddling my thumbs in my lap, scared to hear their answers. What if they didn't agree with this? Will have to go back home? Will I wonder the streets and live in dumpsters? I shivered at the last thought.

Before my brain could think of anymore random scenarios, a happy Harry piped up. "Hey, it don't bother me!" Soon all the boys began to agree with Harrys words and inside I found myself relieved.

"Did you hear that!? You get to stay!" I smiled widely as Louis wrapped his arms around me in a tight hug.

"Group hug!" Harry shouted, throwing himself on us. I giggled happily as the other boys joined in, nearly crushing me and Louis to death. As we all parted, the boys finding places to sit, a flood of questions began to pile in.

"So Bethany, how old are you?"

"Is your hair naturally that color?"

"What's your favorite food?"

"What's your bra size?" The last question came from an innocent looking harry as he eyed me carefully.

"Hey! Keep your eyes on her face, bub!" Louis shouted, pouting like a child as he wrapped a protective arm around me. I blushed furiously and hid my face in Louis shoulder as he chuckled lightly.

"Anyways," Liam began, "How about we watch a film and save the questions for later?" I gave Liam a small smile as the boys all nodded and agreed with Liam's idea.

"Hmm, what should we watch?" Niall's Irish accent was like music to my ears as he spoke.

To be honest, I've always kind of adored Niall the most, well him and Louis that is. Maybe it was because of his accent or because of his cute little chubbyish cheeks.

"How about a Horror film?" Zayn suggested. My eyes grew big in fear as all the boys nodded their heads and began to search through a giant cabinet full of movies.

"Oh, how about The Hill's Have Eyes?" Niall smiled, pulling the disk out and examining the back of the case.

"Hmm, nope. Not really that scary. Oh! I know! How about Paranormal Activity!" Louis piped up as he slipped away from my side joined the rest of the boys on there hunt for a proper film. I silently cursed under my breath as the boys' eyes lit up.

"Alright, Paranormal Activity it is then!" Louis, Niall, and Harry crawled across the floor and onto the couch, making themselves comfortable as Liam put the DVD in the DVD player, quickly shuffling back to a large love seat that sat across the room as he happily flopped down on it and made himself comfortable, Zayn making his way into the kitchen. I looked over at Lou with pleading eyes as he once again wrapped an around me, biting my bottom lip hard as the nerves in my stomach began to build up. I absolutely HATED scary movies with a passion and I hoped Louis would quickly notice and possibly change it. I shifted around uncomfortably as I sat between Niall and Louis, Harry happily sitting on the other side of Niall as he rested against the arm rest.

"Wait..." Louis began, gazing into my pleading eyes. "Do you not like scary films?"
I franticly shook my head.

"Hmm, well then.. This is gonna suck for you!" He laughed, earning a chuckle from Harry and Liam in the process.

"Louis.." I groaned, frowning as I turned to find Niall giggling to himself beside me. "What are you laughing at?" I mused, slightly pinching his arm.

"OUCH!" Niall whined. "Nothing?" His words came out more as a question then a statement as I stuck my bottom lip out in a pout, but it didn't seem to have an affect on any of the boys as the movie had began to start. Zayn quickly made his way back into the living room with two giant bowls of popcorn and handed one to Niall, keeping the other one with him as he plopped down next to Liam.

"You can just hide behind me if you get scared." Niall smiled, happily munching on a handful of popcorn.

"Thanks."

"Alright, here we go!" The boys cheered as Harry got up and turned off the lights, quickly rushing back to his seat next to Niall at the end of the couch. Without even giving the movie a try I squeezed my eyes shut and buried my face behind Niall's shoulder.

You can make it through this Bethany, you can do this!

Before I even knew it, I found myself slowly falling asleep, the affects of the long, tiring, eventful day finally catching up to me.
