Bright Blue Eyes

I wake as sun trickles in through the curtains. For a moment I don't know where I am and panic rushes through me. The I feel Louis' strong arms wrapped around me and remember.

"Morning." Louie says as he kisses my head, sounding wide awake.

"Morning." I yawn and turn on my back to look up at him since he's on his side, "How long have you been awake?"

"Maybe five minutes. By the way, you look cute when you sleep." he answers.

"You're such a weirdo, Louis." I tease and shove him lightly. He laughs and shrugs.

"Come on, I think someone is making breakfast." Louis says and stands, pulling me out of bed.

We walk out into the living room and kitchen and see Liam making pancakes. Zayn, Harry, Niall, and Scarlet are talking in the living room.

Louis and I sit on a couch with Zayn and join the conversation. Scar looks over at me.

"Don't think you're off the hook for that dare last night." She says and glares playfully at me. I laugh and respond,

"Hey! It was hilarious. Plus we all got to swim." We all laugh then grab a plate of pancakes. I don't even know how many Niall grabbed.

We eat in silence. Harry is first done. He looks over at me, his expression looking thoughtful.

"Uh... Skylar when you're done will you meet me outside?" He asks. I give him a confused look but nod.

He walks out into the backyard quietly while I finish. I stand and follow while everyone watches me.

"Don't forget about Louie!" Scar says. I tell her to shut up then close the back door. Harry turns and looks at me.

"What's so important you need to tell me alone?" I ask.

"I don't think I could really say this in front of the others." He sighs. I lean back on the wall of the house and watch him.

"Ok," he says softly, "so I've felt like this for a while and now I have to tell you. I..." he stops and stares ar me, his green eyes burning into my hazel ones.

"I think I love you." My heart skips a beat. He quickly looks away and I hear him mutter, "I shouldn't have said anything..."

"Har-Harry... I don't know what to say..." I tell him as my face burns.

"You can go back inside." Harry says, a bit more like a demand then a suggestion. "And, please, don't tell the others."

I nod and quickly walk back into the house. Everyone stares at me.

"What'd he say?" Louis asks as I sit beside him.

"Nothing." I lie and hold his hand. It was much more then nothing.

He shrugs then says, "Well we're gonna go to a waterpark today. You two wanna come along?"

Scarlet and I agree.

"Alright, met you two there. I'll text Sky the details." Louie says and I get ready to leave.
