The protectors

Sarah's P.O.V
"oh come on Andrew, it's kinda funny how you get angry" I laughed
"it's not funny Sarah, he's right, I am weak and-"
"wow, hold it right there fido, you aren't a weakling, you've stood up for me enough times so I can say your not"
he sighed but ended up embracing me
"thanks" he said
"now, come on fido, I'm starving"
"when aren't you" he laughed

"Protectors? you followed some damn protectors?! And trained with them?!" Jeanine was furious when I got home and told her where I had been
the truth is I didn't even know why I told her, I just did
Andrew was on the other side of the couch looking down
'come on Andy, say something, cut me some slack'
but he just kept looking at the floor
he could be my very unexpected Prince Charming if he stood up and carried me out of the house taking me wherever that was better than here
"Sarah, are you even listening?!" Jeanine didn't have seemed to have cooled off but at least I didn't need to listen to her drone on and on
"sorry, too stuck in my fantasy world, see ya" I said as I got up
Jeanine just nodded and said I was excused
although she did it with gritted teeth so that just means I'm grounded
"night,Andy" I muttered as I let him out
"you're angry aren't you?" He said
"I know you are, sorry, I just-"
"dude,I'm fine, just, uh, goodnight" I closed the door slowly hoping he would push it aside and beg for forgiveness but he just left
well, a girl can dream can't she
don't get me wrong, Andy's cute and all but I don't like him that way
I know he likes me that way, it's a bit obvious, I mean he's my best friend and he's cool but I just wish he would fight for what he cares about
then, maybe I'd give him a shot
