Chapter 4: Incident

Waking up with a smile on my face is so unusual for me. But that what was happening when I woke up this morning. I felt like a new person waking up in the same old body. I turned to my side to look at my phone and I notice I had a text from someone. "Who in the heck could this be 8 o'clock in the morning" I said out loud when I glanced at the time on my phone.
I unlocked my phone to see who it was that text me this early. I thought it would have been my mom telling me she went to work already since she is a well known surgent in the medical field. But I was wrong when I saw who it was on my screen. None other then Louis. I smiled as I opened the message.

From:Louis :)
*Goodmorning love, I hope u slept well.*
To:Louis :)
*Good morning and yes I did thanks for asking*
Once I hit send I got up to get myself ready for the day.

By the time I officially got out the bathroom it was 10 o'clock. I walked into my room to see Raven wide awake watching tv. "Hey sleepy head" I said to her. "Hey, I waited up for you but as you already know that didn't work out well" she giggled. I nodded and continue to look through my closet for something to wear. I decided on this. Once I was ok with my outfit I decided to get dress.
Yes I got dress in front of my best friend. I known her so long it got to the point where I can walk into the bathroom while she in the shower and go pee (true story). "What are our plans for today?" I asked her. "While you were in the shower Jake came up and asked did we want to go to five guys with him and the guys" she told me. "Ok cool we can" I said.
"I'm going to go get ready" Raven shouted when she jumped off the bed. "Oh by the way when we come back I want all the details of the date" she winked at me as she went into the bathroom. I heard the shower spring to life as I open my bedroom door to go downstairs.
As I made my way down the stairs I heard more then one voice coming from out the living room. All muscular voices. Only voice that sounded familiar was my brother Jake. "He must have all of Dark Blood over" I thought. The closer I got the more I can make out each voice.
"Y'all staying here tonight or what" my brother Jake asked the group. "Yeah" the group said in unison as I walked in. "Hey Sym" the group shouted. "Hey" I said waved as I began to take a seat next to my brother Jake. "What are you guys doing after we go to Five Guys?" I asked.
"Guy stuff" Jaked smirked. "In other words come back here and play video games" I stated. Once I said that everyone started to laugh including me because we all knew it was true. "Anyone up for teams when we come back?" I asked them. They all agreed then went back to talking about guys things.
I just sat back and watch the gang talk. I can't believe I knew each guy for two years and it felt like a life time. My mind drifted to last night with Louis. I can't believe I am betraying my brother and the guys I thought. I kept in my thoughts until my ex boyfriend Ian asked me a question. "Are you alright?" He asked. Login, Brent, Adam, and Jake all looked at me to see what I was going to say.
"Yeah I'm fine" I smiled. Everyone went back to their conversation expect Jake. He gave me a unsure look. I mouthed "I'm fine" to get him to stop looking at me. To be honest I wasn't fine. All I could think about what would happen once they find out that I went on a date with Louis last night.
Before I could let my thoughts get into something bad Raven came into the living room. I looked at her outfit and smiled at my best friend fashion chose. I gave her a nodding approval the same time she gave me one. "Are we ready to go?" Raven asked us. "Yup lets go" Jake said getting up off the couch.
We all piled into two cars. All the guys decided to drive together, which was fine with me and Rav. We got to listen to all our music with out getting interrupted. It's never a dull moment when me and Raven are together. The whole ride to Five Guys was spent talking, listening to music, and hitting on hot guys in other cars or hot guys walking down the street.
As we pulled in to the parking lot Jake and his friends came up right behind us. "Nice timing" I laughed at Jake when I got out of Raven car. "You know we had to pull up together, if not people might start talking" he laughed. I giggled walking in the resturant. "You and Rav get our usual table while me and the guys will get the food" Jake said.
I nodded walking in the direction of our table. I found the table in the usual spot in the corner towards the back with the huge window next to it. Its really is a great spot to sit at because you can see everything and everyone. Wonder why everyone wants to sit at it, but are to afraid to because of Dark Blood. So it's no wonder when I got to the table nobody was there.
Me and Raven talked for about five minutes when the boys came with two to three trays stacked with food and drinks. "The usual for you two ladies" Jake smiled. "Thanks" me and Raven said at the same time before getting our food off the tray. I didn't need to know what he got because I already knew. Me and Raven get it all the time when we come here. A bacon cheeseburger with a large fry and a large coca cola.
Yeah you probably thought I would get like a veggie sandwich or something, since I'm with a bunch of guys but no. I'm one of them girls who eat and don't care who around either. "Sym I forgot your ketchup" Ian spoke. "Its cool I will just go get some" I said getting up. I went towards the front where they have a long table filled with ketchup, salt, pepper, mustard etc...
I got a hand full of ketchup packs knowing everyone going to want some as well. I turned around to see One Direction coming in the front door. I hurried to my seat before Niall or Louis could see me and ask me what I am doing here. Once I got to my sit I whispered in Raven ear "Louis and his friends are here" I spoke quietly. I could tell she was surprise just like me because her eyes went from normal to huge in a blink of an eye.
"Don't draw attention to yourself and keep calm" she whisper to me. That would be easier said then done I thought. I sigh and continued to eat my food before one of the guys notice I wasn't eating. So far so good I said to myself after about twenty minutes of eating. I don't know why I thought that because of what happened next.
"Hey isn't that One Direction?" Login asked. If looks could kill he would have been died on the spot, since he had no business saying anything to the others to draw attention. "Yeah thats them" Jake nodded. Just as I glanced over at their table Louis eyes caught my glance. "Shit" I mumbled.
"What?" Jake asked. "Um nothing" I said turning to look at my older brother. I turned my head back towards Louis table just in time to see him say something to his friends. Whatever he said to them got them to look at my table. This will not end well I told myself as I look down at the little bit of food I had left.
I kept my head down until Jake phone went off. "Hello" he said to who ever was on the other line. What ever that person said got Jake a little mad. "Stay here you two" he pointed to me and Raven. "You guys come with me outside" he said to the guys.
"Jake what's wrong?" I asked while grabbing his arm to stop him from getting up. "Its none of your business" Jake looked at me. "It is my business, if you're getting angry" I told him. "Let go of my arm Sym" he said a little to loud. Which caused every one in the resturant to look towards our table including One Direction.
"No not until you tell me" I said standing my ground. I could hear a few people gasp at me for telling him no. If I was anyone else I knew he would have me knocked out cold on the ground for telling him no in public. I could tell in his face he was losing his patience with me. "Stay right here" he demanded before physically removing my hand from his arm.
He walked out towards his car with the rest of Dark Blood trailing behind. "Just let him cool off" I heard Raven say. "Yeah I guess you right" I told her. I started to play with my fries when Raven pinched me on my thigh. "Ouch" I looked at her. "Don't look but Louis and his friends are coming this way" she mumbled to me.
"Crap" I whispered. I pretended to not be aware that One Direction was coming this way by playing with my left over fries. "Hey" I heard a british accent say. I looked up to see Louis looking down at me with a unreadable expression on his face. "Um hi" I nervously smiled at them.
"What brings you to Five Guys?" Raven asked trying to make this as less awkward as possible. "We heard the food would be good" Niall said. "You came to the right place" I chuckled. "What are you doing here?" Louis finally spoke looking directly at me. "Eating just like you guys" I said.
"No what are you doing at this table with them dicks?" he said rephrasing his question. "Minding their own business" a familiar voice said moving from behind them. I mentally slapped myself for not paying attention to the the sound of the front doors opening forgetting that the guys could come back at any second. I didn't know they would come back that fast. I thought I had some time to get Louis and his friends to leave the table with out Jake seeing.
But I guessed wrong. "Lets go" Jake said in a very serious tone. He came around the table grabbing my arm to get me up. "I can get up perfectly fine" I glared at my brother while standing up. "You heard the lady" Louis said giving Jake the death glare. "I don't think anyone was talking to you" Jake said looking at Louis with a equal expression on his face.
"I'm talking to you so let her go" Louis demanded. "And if I don't" Jake said moving a little closer to Louis all the while letting my arm go. I knew at that point it was going to get very ugly if I didn't think of something fast.I did the only thing I could think of. Jump in front of both of them to keep space in between. I faced Jake because I knew if I didn't he could easily grab Louis from around me with out me even realizing it. "Enough" I said to Jake. "Move out me way" Jake said to me very angry.
"No now lets get out of here. People are looking at us" I said trying to calm him down. "I don't care" he spoke. "I do now lets go" I told him. "Move" he said. "Please Jakey" I said putting my hand on his shoulder. I used his nickname I gave him when I was a kid to try and calm his nerves.
It started to work because he unclenched his fists. I took that as a sign to pull him toward the front doors so he can get in his car. I looked around the resturant to see the whole place looking at us in silence. "Come on" I said still trying to pull him. He still gave Louis the death glare but let me pull him out the door with Dark Blood and Raven in toll.
I got Jake to let me go back in there to clean up our left over food while he sat in the driver side of his car. "Stay here" I pointed to him before going back inside. "What are guys looking at" I said out loud to everyone still starring at my brother. I must have looked mad because people slowly started to go back to what they were doing. A few people still looked at me when I walked back up to our table.
It was a very tense enviroment while I cleaned off the table. I looked up to see Niall and his friends talking to Louis at their table. I guess trying to calm him down because his face was still red with anger. He looked up from his table to stare at me with a emotionless expression that I so desprately wanted to read. I hurried up finishing cleaning off the table so I could leave before Jake came back in.
With one last look at Louis I walked out the door and into Raven car to go home. I sent Louis a text saying that I needed to talk to him later on and to meet me at the park. I saw he read the text but didn't respond. I sighed and put my phone back into my purse. I just really hope he will show up so I could explain.

I decided to update a day early :). But OMG!!! A Big Thank You to my first commenter, voter, and subscriber. I heart you all so dearly. I shed a tear when I saw that yesterday big KUDOS for that. Um what else to say. Oh before I forget Chapter 5 will be uploaded sometime either next thursday or friday because all next week I have my senior exhibition to determine if I graduate in june so I won't have time to finish writing the chapter :)). If anyone would like to talk to me I will be online for the rest of the day so just shoot me a msg or something. I got to go before I make this any longer so I will see you lovelys soon.
