Chapter 3: Surprise

*Louis POV*

After I sent that last text to Sym I just sat in bed thinking about these past events of the day. I am so glad Sym agreed to go on a date with me. Like come on she is so beautiful its unbelieveable. When I first saw her dancing by herself to the music I knew I had to go over and dance with her. I was surprise she didn't push me away when I grabbed her and started to grind into her.

The way her hair smelled like strawberries when the wind blew it. I felt like the happiest man alive. Haha I'm glad all the other lads went to sleep because if they would see me right now they might try to punch me until I come to my senses. But I don't care I want to get to know Symophony and hopefully she feel the same way. With that last thought in my head I drifted off into a peaceful sleep with a smile on my face.

*Niall POV*

As I lead in bed I couldn't get Raven out my head. I saw her having a drinking contest with a few other people at the party and I couldn't help but smile. It weird but I knew she probably be the one for me. I haven't seen many girls who can drink as much as she did with out getting shit face drunk. She just the type to give me a run for my money and that saying something since I drink A LOT. I just had to know her name but I didn't get a chance to once them shots went off.

I didn't know what it was but as soon as she opened the door I couldn't help but blush at how gorgeous she was. I knew I had gotten a chance to find out her name. Ever since then I tried my hardest to not stare but it was no use. Every time I glanced at her she would look at me with them beautiful hazel eyes. I hope I see her again because then I will ask her on a date, maybe it will turn into more and a relationship blossoms.

*Next Morning*

*Sym POV*

I woke up to see Raven not next to me like she was suppose to be. "She might have went to the kitchen" I said as I walked down the stairs. Just as I thought she was in the kitchen eating cereal at the island with her IPhone in her other hand. "Good Morning" she said while glancing up from what ever she was doing on her phone. "Good Morning. You're up early" I said when I got to look at the clock on the stove that read 9:00 am.
"Yeah my brain is on overload after what happened yesterday" she said. I nodded in agreement while getting a bowl to put some cereal in. Once I finished I took a seat opposite Raven on the island to start to eat my honey nut cheerios. "Yeah I know what you mean. I could hardly sleep last night because of it" I stated. "Sure it nothing to do with Louis" Raven smirked questioning.
"Shh don't say that out loud, I don't want Jake to know" I said in a quick whisper. "Don't want me to know what?" Jake asked while walking into the kitchen. I mentally curse myself out while trying to think of a quick lie. Thankfully Raven spoke up for me. "Mind your business noise she was talking to me" Raven confessed. I silently thank her as I couldn't think of nothing to say.
"Whatever" Jake simply replied. "Hey did you go to Megan party last night?" He asked. "Yeah we went" I said hoping he wouldn't say anything about the shooting. "What time did you leave? Yall better have not been there when the shooting started!" He said matter factly. All I could do was look down at my cereal because I knew if I lied and he found out I will get some hell from him.
"Sym! What the hell" he shouted. "What? Its not like I knew people would start shooting" I stated. He shock his head before talking again. "How did you get home?" He questioned. "Don't worry we both walked home" I said softly. "How did Rav car get out front if you both walked?" He questioned.
I sighed because my brother can be so annoying sometimes. Before I could speak Raven spoke up. "A friend of mines drove it here for me since I didn't want to go back to get it last night. Anymore questions?" She demanded. He shock his head before beginning to talk. "Just be careful ok. Anything could have happen and since I wasn't there I worry" he said.
"Well we are fine" I stated. "Wait how did you know about the shooting if you weren't there?" I questioned. "Just because I wasn't there doesn't mean I don't know what go down in my streets" Jake said with to much confidence in his voice. " I got eyes and ears everywhere at all times. Ecspecially on you Sym" he said. "I don't need protection Jake. I am seventeen for god sakes" I said trully annoyed.
"I don't care Sym! You are my little sister and I have to protect you" Jake shouted getting angry. I opened my mouth to say something but decided against it. One thing about Jake is that don't get on his bad side when he is angry. You don't want to be around when he have his temper, its really bad. One time he even put a guy in a coma for a few weeks when he was so angry.
"Sym" Jake said to me while walking to sit next to me. I didn't realize I was just staring off into space until he tapped my arm. "Look I don't want to fight.You and mom is all I have and I don't want nothing to happen to you guys" he whispered. I didn't say anything but nod and got up to put my bowl in the sink. I could hear him sigh from behind me.
Now some of you are probably wondering what happened to my father since Jake didn't mention him. Well my dad left about ten years ago . It really took a toll on all of us, but it really effected my brother a lot. He looked up to him and when he left he didn't know what to do. Jake started to mess with the wrong crowd and do bad things but eventually that life style consumed him. Now he the leader of Dark Blood and everyone is afraid of him. Well probably not his so called rivals.
I continue to be in my thoughts until Raven got done with her bowl so we both can go up stairs to get me ready for tonight. By the time we finally made it up to my room it was around 11:30. In T minus nine hours I will be on my way to this surprise date with Louis. I couldn't help but smile, he really is hot. I just hope Jake wouldn't find out.
"What do you think I should wear?" I asked Raven. "It all depends on where you guys are going but since he didn't tell you, you probably should go with this" She said handing me my pink crop top and high waisted shorts. "Well we got the clothes now what about the hair and shoes" I tell her. She gave me that devilish grin before telling my her plans. "Don't worry about that. Leave it all to your bestie." She said smiling.

*Eight hours later*

By the time Raven got finish with me it was 7:30. I never knew it took so long to get the natural look. " You look great" Raven said putting the finish touches on my make up. "Wow you did fantasic Rav" I said turning to look in the mirror. She really did a great job to give me the natural look.
I looked date ready but doesn't feel date ready. It just dawned on me that I will be going on a date with the freaking Louis of all people. I guess I must have a really weird expression on my face because Raven just gave me a weird look. "You will be ok" Raven said half smiling. "Do you think he will like my outfit?" I questioned.
"He will love it babe" she said laughing. "I sure hope so" I said to myself. If this date go well then I need to find a way to get Niall and Raven together. I felt like cupid but like come on they would be so cute together. So forget you if you don't believe in love.
After about twenty minutes of getting the do and don'ts playbook of a first date, Louis IMessage me.

*Be there in 10 mins xxx*
To: Louis
*Ok blow ur horn when u are out side*
Since I have an IPhone I could see that he read it but didn't reply. I just shrugged it off "He probably driving" I thought. I showed Raven the messages while I got my lip gloss and purse so I can go down stairs. I froze at the top of the steps because I got a very nervous thought.
"What if Jake ask me where I'm going?" I said to Raven."Don't worry. Just say we are going out and I told you to dres up a little so you can find someone" she said. All I could do was look at her and laugh. Where do she get this lies from. After my two minute laughing fit I finally attempted to make my way down the stairs.
Yes I said attempt because I ended up falling down the last five steps. I heard Raven giggle behind me once she made it down that killer stairwell. "Its not funny" I told her a little annoyed. It's really not my fault I am clumsy. Once I finished fixing my clothes, there was a knock on the door.
"I will get it" Raven said. I was thankful because I felt like my feet were matted to the ground. Once I saw him I got extremely fluttered and butterflies erupted in my stomach. He made me feel a bit nervous since he didn't say anything once he saw me. "Bloody hell" I heard him mumble to himself.
I gave him a questionable look since I didn't know rather it was a good thing or bad thing. "You look beautiful" he smiled. Whew I let out a breathe I didn't know I was holding in. I smiled at him and said "You don't look to bad yourself." Ha that was a really lame flirt attempt, but he didn't seem to mind since he started to blush all red.
"You ready to go?"he said. "Yes lets go" I said to him. "Bye Rav. I'll see you when I get back" I told her as I waved goodbye. "Bye, don't do something I wouldn't do" she said while winking at me. If I wasn't nervous before she just topped that.
I blushed a scarlet red when I heard him to began to laugh at her remark. We made it to I assume is his car. I wasn't expecting him to be a gentlemen and open my door for me. I smiled and said thank you as I was getting into the seat. Once I was comfortable he closed the door and walked around to the driver side to get in.
"Seat belts" He said when he got into the car. "Ha a gentlemen and safety expert I see" I said to him. He did that cute laugh while turning on the radio. "What would you like to listen to love" he said. "No brainer, 5sos!" I boldly stated.
For some reason I have a very very big obession with 5sos. Hey don't judge me. "You seem to be full of surprises" he laughed but still put it on. Soon enough I could hear Luke Hemmings voice sing throughout the car. I guess he was content with his choices because he began to drive off.
I laid my head on the window and watch the city lights go by while singing along. I saw that we was leaving the city about ten minutes into driving. "Where are we going" I asked. "Its a surprise" he said when he pulled over. He turned around towards his back seat to fish out something.
He found it after two minutes of looking. Turns out it was a blindfold. "Here I am going to put this on you" he said. I guess he saw me a little worried so to reasure me he gave my hand a little squeeze before putting it on me. "And what is the point of this?" I questioned.
"I said our date is a surprise and that what it will remain to be a surprise" he stated. "So here on out for the rest of the car ride you going to be blindfolded, ok" he said. "Fine" I said a little bit annoyed. For the rest of the ride we were silent. I wanted him to think I was a little mad that I had the blindfold on.
But in reality I was jumping up and down with excitement inside. We continued to drive for it seemed like 5 hours as went by. I later found out we were only driving for 45 minutes. I could hear the car coming to a complete stop. I heard Louis turning the car off before getting out.
A minute went by before I could feel Louis opening my door and helping me out. "Can I take it off now?" I questioned him. "Nope not yet. I will tell you when" he simply said. He began to walk me somewhere until he told me to stop and to step into something. What in the hell I said to myself but me being me I did what he said to do.
"Don"t move, I will be right back" he commanded. "Where in the hell I'm going to go blindfolded" I said scarcasticly. He chuckled before walking off. Oh great I'm by myself in probably some woods I thought. I swear if I get attack by a bear I will shoot him with my bare hands I said to myself, hopefully someone didn't hear my last remark.
I finally began to hear foot steps come closer and closer. Until someone touched my shoulder. "Louis is that you" I whispered. "Yes its me love" he laughed. "Be still I am going to be putting something on your head that you will need" he mumbled.
I just nodded because that all I could do. My mind was in overdrive on thinking what this date possibly could be. "Ok we can start walking" he said. I did as I was told to do and started to walk. A few minutes of walking and I could hear another voice. Maybe it was my imagination taking over I thought.
No I defintely heard another voice talking to Louis. What in the world I thought. Who in the hell would be talking to Louis. Oh god I just hoped I wouldn't be getting killed my a serial killer or something. I started to silently pray until Louis snapped me out my trance.
"Ok love, this is Mike and he will be with us while on this date" I heard Louis say. I frowned a little and I think Louis saw because he quickly began to talk again. "We will be needing Mike help for the date" he quickly said. "Um ok. Hello Mike I'm Symophony" I said not trying to be so rude.
"Hello Symophony" Mike said in a very heavy New Yorker accent. I smiled knowing Mike must have grown up in New York just like me. "Ok we are going to be walking up this hill a little bit" Mike said. "Wait a hill!" I stated. If we are going to walk up a hill then that means we're out in the mountains. Ha I think I know what the surprise date is but I'm not going to tell Louis.
I'm just going to act like I am clueless. We continue to walk in silence up this big hill. I mentally thanked Raven for letting me wear my converses and not some heels. Louis held onto my hand the whole time. And I was glad, it would be a bad sight if I would have fell since I can't see where I'm going.
We walked a little more before Mike said we made it to the spot. "Thank god" I shouted bluntly. "Ha, yeah I guess I should have told y'all how steep the hill was" he said. You think I said under my breathe for only me to hear. But I guess it didn't work because Louis started to laugh.
Once Louis finish laughing he turned me around so he ended up behind me. "Ok are you ready to take the blindfold off?" He asked. "Yes! Finally" I stated. "Ok on the count of three" he begin to say. "One....Two....Three" I heard him say.
I could feel him take off my blindfold. It took me a moment to let my eyes adjust to the dark because I was blindfolded for awhile. When my eyes finally adjust to the dark all I could do is just stare at where we were. "Oh My God!" I screamed. I couldn't believe we were about to go ziplining under the stars. I turned around to give him a big hug before turning back to look at the stars.
"I hopes you will love it" he said. "I do, its beautiful" I said on the verge of shedding tears. He whipped a few tears that fell onto my cheek before speaking. "Don't cry love" he said. "I'm sorry its just nobody ever went out their way before for me" I smiled.
"Well get use to it babe. I will be doing it a lot more" He said while hugging me from behind. "You two are so cute together" I heard Mike say. "Oh we not together" I told him. "Not together yet" Louis said. I laughed at him because maybe he was right. "Lets get to ziplining" Mike said. "Lets" me and Louis said in unison.

*Three hours later*

"That was so awesome" I said to Louis as we began to drive off. "Yeah it was brillant" he said. For the rest of the drive back to my house it was a comfortable silence. I turn to lay my head on the window and think about the fun time I just had until Louis put my hand into his. I smiled at him and continued to look out the window.
I didn't realize I fell asleep until Louis whispered into my ear to wake me up. "Wake up beautiful we're at your house" he said softly to wake me up. "I'm up" I said while unbuckling my seatbelt. Louis got out the car to come around to open my door for me. "Such a gentlemen" I said when I got out the car.
"Anything for you love" he said. I smiled to him then started to walk up to my front door. "Well here you are" he said sadly. " Yup well here I am" I said. "Thanks you for this amazing night" I told him before opening my door.
"Thank you for agreeing to come on this date with me" he smiled. "I had a fun time" he said. "Me too well goodnight" I said while walking into my house. "Goodnight" Louis said. He started to walk back to his car before I stopped him. "Wait" I said running back to his car.
"Whats wrong" he said nervously. "Nothing I just wanted to do this"I said. "Do wh-" he said before I kissed him on the cheek. "That" I said before walking back to my house. "Goodnight beautiful, I will text you tomorrow" he said getting into his car.
And with that he drove off while I closed my front door. I smiled to myself before walking up my stairs to my room. I knew Raven would already be sleep by the time I got back. So I had to be quiet while getting ready for bed. Right when I settle into bed I got a text from Louis.

From:Louis
*I really did have a fun time 2night. I cant wait for date #2. Goodnight beautiful*
I slowly drifted off into a peaceful sleep with the thought of a second date on my mind.
