The One
Chapter 8.
I through my set of clothes for the dinner date in a bag, and took one final look of my outfit. Cute goddess shoes, jeaned short shorts, and a cute checkered blue and white shirt with a white tank top. I grabbed my blue and white stripped with brown bag, my keys, and iPhone and headed downstairs to say goodbye to my parents. As I headed downstairs Amber was searching for something in our fridge, and my mom had a copy of teen vogue she was reading, but there was no sign of my dad.
"Hey Mom, where's Dad?" I asked looking around.
"Oh I thought I told you, he had to work today sweetie." she said keeping her focus on the magazine in her hands.
"Oh, okay." I replied a little disappointed.
"Do you have anything without carbs in it?" Amber asked still searching through our fridge.
"There is some low-carb chocolate bars in the pantry." My mom answered back.
"Oh, found um'! Thanks Mrs.M!" Amber replied before stuffing her face with chocolate.
"For the last time Amber, call me Susie!" My Mom said.
"For the last time Mrs.M, I don't call adults by their first names." She said in between chocolate bars.
"Fine, just know you can if you want to." My replied politely.
"Come on Am, we're going to be late for the book signing." I said searching for my keys in my bag. Amber looked up and down me and gave me a confused look.
"You're wearing that for your date?" She asked being oblivious. I motioned her to stop that my mom was right over there, but she didn't get the gesture. My mom sprang up and quickly walked over to me.
"You didn't tell me you had a date! Who is it?" She asked eavesdropping.
"His name is....Larry, yeah Larry Miles." I said hoping she would buy it.
"I've never heard of him. What is he like?" She asked still being nosy.
"He's cute, but also sort of a pervert., so don't expect anything from it, its just a date." I said hoping she wasn't going o get disappointed.
"Okay, just remember, your senior prom is coming up, and you don't have a date; and if you don't chose I will be forced to chose Kile Blanc." She said convincingly.
"Mom, I've told you a billion time, he cheated on me."
"I know, but I still like him."
"Bye, mom." I said trying to drop the conversation.
"Bye sweetie, have a good time with Larry." She said with a smirk on her face.
"I'll try!" I said as I closed the door. We walked to the car, and got in and Amber plugged her iPhone in and picked the song. Super Bass, Nicki Minaj. I gave her a look of 'really' then started raping it and drove to the signing.

When we got their, their were so many people, the line had to be a mile and a half long.
"Why are there so many people?" Amber asked.
"I have no idea." I replied back. We drove to the front of the line and got out of our car grabbing our books. A few girls yelled at us for cutting in the mile-long line, but we could because my Dad arranged this signing. I looked around to see who the celebrity was, but a girl was hugging him so I just put my focus on Suzanne Collins.
"And who should I make this out to?" Suzanne Collins asked.
"Chelsea please." I replied back. I noticed she was reciting what she was writing.
"Dear Chelsea, enjoy your Hunger Games adventure." She said folding the book and giving it back to me.
"Thank you!" I said putting the book in my bag.
"You are most very welcome. Now you get to meet the celebrity." She said pointing to her left. I looked over, and saw the one person in the world I did not want to see. Harry. I quickly walked over took his hand, and went behind the backdrop that Suzanne Collins was in front of signing.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I asked him.
"I'm the celebrity." He replied. out of all the celebrities in the world it was him. How could my dad do this to me. Then it hit me, I had mentioned that he should invite someone from One Direction. "What are you doing here?" He asked interrupting my train of thought.
"My literature teacher made me come." I snapped back.
"Well, since you're here, you might as well get your picture. Oh and act like your enjoying this." He said mocking me.
"Whatever." I said as I followed him back to the picture spot. There was man that held his hand out.
"Do you have a phone?" The photographer asked.
"Oh yes, here." I said handing him my iPhone. Harry took his large hand around my waist and pulled me into him.
"That's better." Harry said. I could tell he had a smirk o his face.
"Say cheese!" The photographer said before snapping the picture. He started to hand my phone back to me, but Harry pushed it back.
"Wait, one more." He said as he turned to me.
"What are you doing?" I asked confused
"Every girl gets a kiss on the cheek, you get yours on the lips." He said inappropriately. I backed away.
"No way!" He took his hands and pulled me back into him before I could get away. "You don't want to cause a scene, now do you."
"Fine. But its a one-time thing." I said disgusted. I large set of perfect soft pink lips connected with mine in an instant.
"1, 2, 3. Cheese!" The photographer said handing me back my phone. But I didn't pull away, this kiss was different then the one in his dressing room bathroom. It was, better. I pulled away when I realized there were fan girls screaming at the top of their lungs. Our foreheads were touching which seemed impossible with Harry's towering height.
"I have to go." I said before letting anything else happen. I picked up my bag and started walking to my car before I heard his deep raspy voice say something.
"I'll see you tonight." I smiled, before replying.
"See you tonight Harry."
