Liam’s POV

“Where’s Zayn?” Harry asked looking around the room from the corner.

“Talking to Carly I think.” Niall shrugged looking down at Demi who was talking to Eleanor.

“Oh.” I looked at Harry and saw that he didn’t like that but I wasn’t going to get in the middle of that.

“I wonder what they're doing.” Louis winked and bumped my arm in a suggestive way.

“Louis, get your mind out of the gutter.” I laughed and leaned back against the wall next to Harry.

“It’s not in the gutter…it’s in the bed.” He almost yelled making everyone laugh, even Harry.

“You’re disgusting.” Demi laughed looking over at Harry. “What’s up pretty boy?” She walked over to him and looked into his eyes. “You okay?”

“Yea, I’m fine.” He shrugged and pulled out his phone.

“Okay, I hope you know that you suck at lying.” She touched his arm and walked back over to Eleanor.

I walked over to Eleanor and Demi who were talking about Carly’s new job. They stopped talking when I got close to them but I gave a reassuring smile.

“Do you need something Liam or are you trying to find a way into her pants too?” Eleanor’s attitude was raging.

“I was going to ask what we’re doing to celebrate, I don’t want to get into her pants.” I raised an eyebrow and looked at Demi but she was no help.

“Is she not good enough for you?” Eleanor asked with a ‘you're an ass’ kind of look.

“She’s definitely good enough but I don’t want to deal with Harry and Zayn. They can fight all they want, I don’t want to be with Carly.” I was hoping it would work but I doubt it would, she was in her protective mood.

“El, chill. Liam’s the only guy who hasn’t flirted with her in any way.” Demi stood up for me.

“Whatever, I’ll be in my room.” She shook her head and walked back to her room.

“Don’t take it personally, she’s upset with Harry and Zayn.” Demi rolled her eyes as Louis came over to us.

“What happened?” He looked worried.

“She’s just tired, give her a few minutes alone and she’ll be okay.” Demi lied knowing that it wouldn’t help to have him worrying too.

“Okay… I think we should take Carly out for a celebratory dinner.” Louis offered looking around for approval.

“That sounds good.” I nodded and walked away to my room.

Carly’s POV

I heard faint footsteps and a few sniffles outside of my door. Zayn looked down at me with a questioning look in his eyes.

“I don’t know. Maybe we should wait a minute to go out there.” I whispered once we heard a door close.

“Good plan.” He agreed and sat back down on the bed. “What now?”

I shrugged and walked over to the bed. Taking a seat, I could hear the living room get quiet.

“I hope everything’s okay…” I mumbled under my breath as I sat down next to him.

“If anything was really wrong, they’d come get us.” He set his hand on mine that was sitting on the bed between us.

I looked up at him and was captured by his eyes; they were the lightest brown possible. He squeezed my hand and held my gaze.

“Maybe we should go out there now.” I stood up and headed to the door.

“Okay.” He followed me.

I gripped the doorknob and started to turn it but stopped. When I turned around, he looked confused but looked straight into my eyes. I grabbed his neck and stood on my toes to kiss him. He grabbed my waist and deepened the kiss by pulling my body against him. I pulled back and looked down as his hands slipped into my back pockets.

“Damn.” I whispered still looking away.

He took one of his hands and grabbed my chin; tilting it up towards him he kissed me again. I willingly kissed him back and gripped his hair, holding him close to me.

“Wait…” I mumbled letting go of his hair. “We can’t do this right now.”

“And why not?” He smirked.

“Because we need to go make sure everything’s okay.” I smiled pushing his chest back a little.

“Alright.” He complained but moved back.
