Carly’s POV

“Carly!” Danielle called from behind me as I walked down the stairs. “Wait up, we have to talk.” She seemed happy.

“What’s up?” I asked looking into her eyes.

“I’m sorry we haven't talked lately, we’ve both had a lot going on.” She sighed. “How are you and Zayn doing?”

“We’re fine…?” I said questioningly.

“I just wanted to make sure.” She shrugged.

“How are you and Liam?” I asked in a cute voice.

“Great.” A smiled spread across her cheeks and her eyes lit up.

“Oh gosh, you two are just adorable!” I giggled making her blush. “I’m so happy that you guys are together.”

“Me too.” She smiled. “So, what’s going on with you and Harry?” She looked around. “You seem really happy today and I was wondering if it was because of him?”

“I guess I have been happy today.” I shrugged. “He asked me out this morning on our way here.”

“Finally!” She laughed. “When are you going public?”

“I think tomorrow since we’ll be off for a few days.” I honestly didn’t know how to answer it because we hadn’t talk about it in detail.

“We have a few days off?!” She was so surprised.

“Yea, they told us today. Michelle has to go out of town for family matters and in 3 weeks, we go to California.” I said it like she sould have known.

“Yay! I can’t wait to go to California. Arent you excited?” She asked seeing no excitement in my face.

“Yea, I cant wait to see my mom and go back to my home town but that’s about it.” I shrugged feeling my phone vibrate. “I gotta go, Harry’s here.”

“Okay, have fun.” She winked as I walked away.


I laughed to myself walking toward his black S.U.V. He was looking down at his phone when I opened the door.

“Hey.” He smiled over at me.

“Hi.” I climbed in and sat down with a sigh. “How was your day?”

“Pretty boring.” He shrugged driving away from the curb. “How was work?”

“It was good. We’re off for the next 4 days.” Every time I thought about that, I smiled. “I cant wait to sleep in.”

“Yay!” He laughed grabbing my hand. “Now we can have fun.”

“What do you have in mind?” I asked cautiously.

“I don’t know yet, let me think about it.” He had a devious look in his eyes but it didn’t bother me. “Can I ask you something?”

“Sure.” I looked at him and saw him biting his bottom lip nervously.

“When do you want to go public?” He asked and I sighed. “What?”

“I thought it was a bad question.” I giggled. “It doesn’t matter to me, whenever you feel like it’s the right time.”

“Okay. Then tomorrow?” He asked looking at the road again.

“That’s fine with me.” My heart was pounding against my chest as we pulled up in front of the apartment.

We both unbuckled and walked through the fans and paparazzi to the apartment. He was right behind me and held the door for me. I mumbled a quick “Thanks” as I walked inside. He pushed the elevator button and we waited impatiently for the doors to open. As soon as they opened, we stepped in and pushed the “Close” button.

“I’ve been waiting all day to do this.” He whispered wrapping his arms around my waist.

I giggled and leaned in for a passionate kiss. We stayed like that until the doors opened. With a sigh, we both stepped out and walked to the door. Still hand in hand, I unlocked the door and opened it to see everyone sitting in the living room.

“Hey.” I smiled kicking my shoes off. “What’s up?”

“Family meeting time.” Niall mumbled scooting over for Harry and I to sit.

“This should be fun.” Harry complained taking the seat next to him while I sat on the floor.

“Just kidding! It’s time to work out what the plans are for the next few weeks.” Niall laughed.

“We got you!” Louis giggled receiving glares from me and Harry.

“Demi, when do you leave again?” Liam asked.

“Friday.” She frowned entwining her fingers with Niall.

“Oh.” Liam mumbled as everyone’s mood dropped when we realized it was already Wednesday.

“El and I leave for Arizona on Monday.” Louis blurted out.

“I totally forgot you guys were leaving.” Zayn looked at them with sad eyes.

“When are you guys coming back?” Liam asked in a choked voice.

“Next Saturday.” He mumbled out knowing we would miss them.

“I leave for California in 3 weeks.” I added after a few seconds of silence.

“Why?” Zayn asked protectively.

“Work.” I frowned. “I’ll be out there for work for 3 days but I can stay there for a while if I want to.”

“Are you going to?” Liam asked in the same protective tone Zayn had used.

“Maybe, my mom is out there so I might stay for a week or two.” I shrugged looking at Harry who was looking down at his hands.

“Oh.” He didn’t seem too thrilled that everyone was taking a vacation. “I guess that’s it.”

“Okay, meeting adjourned.” Louis acted like a judge and stomped his feet twice.

I stood up and walked away to my room while everyone sat in the living room. After closing my door, I changed into leggings and a sweater and laid down on my bed. Grabbing my phone, I noticed I had a few texts from my mom. I looked at them and read that she missed me and hoped I was doing okay. Looking at them made me miss her even more but I was having fun here and I’d see her in a few weeks.

A knock at my door snapped me out of my thoughts. I stood up and walked to the door. Turning the doorknob and pulling the door open, I saw Harry standing with his hands in his pockets.

“Are you okay?” I asked reading his face for some sort of expression but couldn’t find one.

“Yea, can I come in?” He asked roughly.

“Sure.” I stepped aside to let him in and closed the door behind him.

“Will you be staying with your mom when you go?” He asked sitting down on my bed.

“Probably, why?” I was so confused.

“Just wondering.” He seemed upset.

“I will probably stay with her unless someone comes with me.” I shrugged standing in front of him now. “Would you like to come with me?”

“Yes.” He was smiling up at me now.

“Is that what was wrong? That I’d be going without you?” I asked trying not to giggle.

“That’s what was wrong but it’s because I don’t want you to have to go alone and I want to be with you.” He blushed. “I know it’s cheesy but I wanna be with you.”

“I want to be with you too, Harry.” I smiled and kissed his cheek.

“Good.” He chuckled watching me sit next to him.

“So, they all want to go out tonight. Do you want to go?” He didn’t seem too excited to go.

“Not really, I’d rather stay here and watch movies in my pajamas.” I mumbled. “But you can go if you want.”

“I was hoping you wouldn’t want to go.” He laughed. “Movies sound fine with me.”

“Sweet.” I cheered
