I missed you.
Carly’s POV
“So how was your day with Ed?” Danielle asked sitting across from me at a picnic table.
“Pretty interesting. We had a deep conversation about love and he asked me to sing with him. He recorded some of the songs we sang and he wants to show it to some manager or something.” I shrugged looking over at El who’d been staring at her phone. “What’s up?”
“Oh, Perrie’s almost here.” She mumbled typing.
“Yay!” Danielle cheered with fake enthusiasum.
“You don’t like her?” El asked looking at her.
“She’s okay, she just seems a little fake.” She didn’t make eye contact with us. “Or high maintenance.”
“Yea, she kinda is high maintenance but she’s really sweet.” El really liked this girl so I decided that I should give her a chance. “Just get to know her and then decide if you like her or not.”
“Okay.” Danielle grumbled but meant it. “I’m gonna go get a drink, want one?”
“Nope.” We both answered in flat tones.
“Hello ladies.” I turned around to see Ed walking toward us.
“Hey!” El cheered.
“Hey” I smiled.
“Is this it? Just us 4?” He chuckled.
“No, we’re waiting for Perrie and few other people.” El answered with a giggle as he sat down next to her.
When I pulled my phone out I saw that I had a text and missed call. I checked the text and saw it was from Demi.

Hey Carly, what’re the plans for tonight? I’m back.
“Demi’s back!” I almost yelled.
“Yay! Tell her to come here.” Danielle walked back toward the table holding a soda.
I texted her to come and hangout with us for the night since we needed more people. She said that she was getting a ride from Perrie and was almost here. Her and Perrie pulled up a few minutes later.
“Does anyone know how to work this thing?” Ed asked looking down at the old barbeque.
“I think I do.” I mumbled walking over to help him.
I couldn’t figure it out so everyone took a turn trying to do it but none of us could make it work. We heard laughter coming from behind us; turning around we saw five familiar guys standing in front of us.
“Niall!” Demi yelled jumping into his arms.
“Hi babe.” He laughed embracing her.
All the girls went to their boyfriend and I went to Harry; he wrapped his arms around my waist as soon as I was close enough. I smiled and kissed his cheek.
“I missed you.” He mumbled quietly.
“I missed you too.” I whispered into his ear before pulling back.
Everyone let go of each other and hugged everyone else. When it was my turn to hug Liam, I glared at him.
“I know I lied but it was a good lie.” He smiled. “I just wanted everyone in the same place.”
“It was a good lie.” I finally mumbled with a smile.
“Don’t be mad.” He looked cocky.
“Whatever.” I smiled hugging him. “It’s nice to have you back.”
“It’s nice to be back.” He chuckled.
“Harry” I whispered sitting on the edge on his bed.
“Uh-huh?” He mumbled opening his eyes to reveal light emerald colored eyes. “Good morning.”
“Good morning.” I smiled down at him.
“Work?” He asked pointing at my clothes.
“Yea.” I frowned ‘cause I wanted to spend the day with them. “Can I borrow your car again?”
“Sure, but I don’t mind driving you.” He offered.
“Okay.” I leaned down and pecked his cheek before leaving his room.
I walked down the hallway to the living room where Liam was lying on the couch. He had a cup of coffee in his hand and was totally mesmerized by the tv.
“Hey” I interrupted his eye contact with the tv.
“Oh, hey.” He paused looking at my outfit. “Do you need a ride to work, cause I can drive you.”
“Nah, Harry’s driving me.” I knew he was itching to see Danielle after hanging out last night. “I know we said no relationship stuff but you should call her.”
“But…” He looked at me with pleading eyes.
“Just do it. She wants to talk to you as much as you want to talk to her, trust me.” He had a smile on his face now.
“I will. What’s up with you and Harry?” He asked bluntly.
“After this that’s are going back to normal.” I laughed. “Nothing’s happening between us at the moment.”
“But you do want something to happen, right?” He raised an eye brow at me.
“Yea but I don’t wanna push it ‘cause it could backfire for us.” I looked at him. “It could seem like he stole me away from Zayn or that I cheated with Harry. It could end badly.”
“If you really like him, it’s worth it.” His smile was so genuine.
“You ready?” Harry asked from the hallway.
“Yea.” I called back to him and looked at Liam as I stood up. “It is.”
