Chapter 9- May 1st, 1992
Sarah’s POV
Marissa explained everything to us. As a guardian angel, you cannot be seen by humans. When we felt the presence watching us while I changing Louis, it was Marissa. When Louis was changed to a werewolf, he could see her but no one else could. She would have to rescue him and her presence be seen by witnesses. After a while she will be able to be seen by anyone that she wants.
In a way, she has the power of being able to be invisible. She told us that she was supposed to take Louis to heaven once he died of the bird flu. Instead when I took him she wanted to see if he would be able to see her. She was supposed to return to heaven. She refused to go back to heaven since she became attached to Louis while she was guarding him on earth.
Anyway, once we got back to the mansion Liam was waiting there with the new girl. Louis and Marissa went upstairs to rest after that long endeavor. They were talking about something and then noticed that I was standing there. Liam took her hand and led her over to where Harry and I were standing.
The girl extended her hand to me, “Hi, my name is Victoria.”
I then shook her hand.
“I’m Sarah and this is Harry.” I said while motioning to Harry who was standing next to me. She shook his hand as well.
“Liam told me all about you and introduced me to everyone else. He also told me that you were training some boy named Louis. Did everything go ok?”
“Actually…no it didn’t. Sorry, I need to go take care of something maybe we can talk a little later?”
“Sure, it’s no problem. Liam and I were going to watch a movie anyway.”
“Thank you.” I turned around and headed upstairs to where Louis and Marissa were.
I’ve been feeling really guilty about being a bitch to Louis and Marissa. I headed down the hall to where Louis’s room was. I knocked on the door.
“It’s open.” Louis said from inside of the room.
I walked in and saw Marissa next to Louis but then in an instant she vanished. Maybe it was just a figment of my imagination.
Louis got up and walked to where I was standing.
“What brings you to my room?”
“I wanted to apologize for basically being a bitch to you and Marissa.”
Right after I said that Marissa appeared again behind Louis.
“Marissa and Louis I’m really sorry about how I was acting to both of you. I should have listened to you and I’m sorry for possibly scaring you into thinking I’m always like that.”
Marissa shook her head, “No, it’s fine. I understand your reason behind it. I wouldn’t want someone who was talking to people that I couldn’t see on my team. I would start to get impatient as well. I would have shown you myself earlier but I wasn’t able to. I was just so excited about Louis finally being able to see me that I completely forgot to tell him that I was his guardian angel.”
“We can see you now and that’s a good thing.” Louis said while wrapping his arm around her waist and bringing her so that she was standing next to him.
“I have a question though?”
Louis and Marissa both looked at me, “What’s the question?”
“If you are a guardian angel then where are your wings?”
Marissa laughed. “You don’t know a lot about guardian angels do you?”
I shook my head, “Not really.”
“Don’t worry I will explain it to you.” She said while placing her hand on my shoulder.
“Why not you tell everyone else as well so you don’t have to repeat yourself?” Louis suggested.
“That’s a good idea.” Marissa said while looking at Louis.
“I will get everyone together then.” I turned to walk out the door when I was stopped by Marissa.
“Thank you, Sarah.” I turned around.
“Thank me for what?”
“For apologizing to Louis and me.”
“You’re welcome.” I said while walking to get everyone together. Harry greeted me by the door.
“So how did everything go?” He said while draping his arm around my shoulder as we walked down the hall.
“It went well I think. Marissa is going to explain everything about being a guardian angel to us so we have to get everyone together.”
“Ok, let’s split up. I will get the guys from the game room and you get the girls from the training center. Meet in the living room. Sound like a plan?” Harry said.
“Sounds like a plan.” I said in response. Then he did something I never thought he would do.
