Harry looks confused. I simply reply.

"It's my weekend with Shaylah"

He nods and says

"Oh"

Justin hands me a pink diaper bag and a safety first baby car seat. I set both items down and Justin sadly hands me Shaylah I carefully take her in my arms and smile. Justin kisses the top of her head and I lightly said.

"Both your Dads will always be here for you"

I guess I was wrong about that BOTH Dads always being around because two weeks later Justin overdosed on methamphetamine on his and Leticia's four year anniversary.

Harry got custody of Vannesa and I got custody of Shaylah.

I knew Justin was upset just not depressed.
