Vannesa's P.O.V

As I'm waiting outside the room I hear Justin's screams and loud bangs on the wall. I'm getting really concerned now. I look over at Louis were both thinking the same thing. We both run into the room while Yoselin and Harry remain seated. To my surprise Leticia my mother, was ............dead. I almost never cry, and especially not for someone. But this time it really hit me. Justin was going wild Niall was in shock with tears streaming down his cheeks.

Louis was staring at me waiting for my reaction. But I just stood there with two tears drops on my face. I look at the nurse , she's carrying the baby. Then I go ahead and grab her carefully holding her in my arms. She looks just like her mother with that black curly hair, when she opens her eyes there a beautiful blue. This means the dad is..........Niall.

In that moment my grandparents walk in (Harry and Yoselin), when they get a look at my mom they're eyes fill with tears. They walk up to the hospital bed and look down at her, Harry carefully brushes the hair off her face and lightly kisses her forehead. Tears keep forming in his eyes they can't stop we slowly walks out of the room looking back once. Yoselin follows Harry out and I can hear they're conversation.

"It's not fair......... our only child"

She sobs while crying even more.

"I know.......WHY"!!!!!

Justin is sitting in the chair next to the hospital bed sobbing and crying loudly. I look over and see Niall sitting on a chair in the corner wiping away tears. I walk over and hand him the baby he lightly smiles.

The doctor walks back in and looks down at his clipboard then looks up at us.

"The cause of her death was while the fetus was crowning it unfortunately got stuck which caused more pain and energy to push, after the third push it caused tear which increased pain. The overall cause was pain and exhaustion. There was nothing we could have done"

The doctor walks back out.

*Four Hours Later*

We were told to leave the room two hours ago when we came back in the baby was still there but the hospital bed was empty. I'm guessing they took here to a different room or something.
Justin walks in first and sits down in the same chair. The nurse hands him paperwork.

"Here these are for the child. Vaccinations that need to be done. Doctors appoinments. The child's names etc."

He nods slowing and starts to fill it out. I sit next to him and help him out when it came time to choose a name he thought about it for a second.
I look confused and say.

"Didn't you both agree to name her Darcy"

"I'm going with the first name your mother wanted"

"What is it"

"Shaylah"

He left the spot for the last name blank he must not know who's last name to put his or Niall's.....
He and hands the nurse all the paperwork but the one for the baby's name. She looks at us and says

"The baby is in perfect health she can home with you tommrow"

Justin nods and looks over at the empty hospital bed I've never seen him like that upset. He did lose the love of his life though......
Later him and Niall agreed that Niall can see the baby on the weekends and certain days which is a fair deal.

Justin's P.O.V

It's been exactly three days since I left the hospital and got to bring little Shayla home. It's been hard not having Leticia's help we were suppose to do this together......
I'm so exhausted and I miss her so much..... Me and Vanessa are finally getting along Leticia always wanted that.

It's 9:45 pm I lay down on floor of the nursery and close my eyes for second when I hear Shaylah cry. I quickly stand up and take her in my arms she must be hungry I walk down the stairs into the kitchen , I open the cabinet and take out the container of infant formula when I open it's empty SHIT.

I walk out of the kitchen trying to calm Shaylah down but she keeps crying. I walk back upstairs into Vanessa's room she using her tablet she looks up at me.

"Why is she crying"?

"She's hungry and were out of formula will you go to the store and get more PLEASE"

She gets up and throws on a hoodie.

"Give me money and car keys"

"My wallet and keys are down stairs take which ever car I don't care just please hurry back"!

She disappears down the hall.

I walk into the nursery and sit down on the rocking chair, she's still crying I grab a pacifier and put it in her mouth she starts to suck on the pacifier and she calms down. Ahh finally she stopped crying. I just look at her she looks so much like her mother except for the eye which she got from........ Niall. I sigh.

Twenty minuets later I hear Vanessa run up the stairs. When she enters the room she's holing a bottle oh thank god. She hands it to me and I start to feed Shaylah after awhile she falls asleep. I get up and carefully place her in her crib. I turn off the light and leave the room.

I've been sleeping in the guest bedroom lately I see no point in sleeping on the bed me and Leticia used to share. I lay down on the bed of the guest room and stare at the ceiling thinking how did this happen I'm a single parent raising a newborn and 17 year old. A week ago we were celebrating Vaness'a 17th birthday together as a family. I remember how happy we all were.

*FLASH BACK*

We woke up early to get things ready we were standing outside of Vanessa's bedroom door I was hold a cake and balloons while Leticia held the present. Were both still with in our pajamas she looks at and smiles.

"Okay in on 3 2 1 "

We run in and shout

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY VANESSA"!!!!!!!!

She slowly rises out of her bed and playfully throws at pillow at her mother. She uses the blanket to cover herself. I set the cake and balloons down and yank the blanket off her.

"Alright I'm calm down"

Leticia sit down on the bed next to her and says.

"Happy birthday honey"

Vanessa looks at both of us and says.

"I can't believe you both remembered I didn't even remember."

I sit down at the foot of her bed and look at her with a smile.

"Sweetie how could we forget our only child's birthday"

She pats Leticia stomach and says

"I'm not going to be an only child for long"

Leticia takes the pink gift box and sets it on Vanessa's lap.

"This is from me and your father c'mon open it"

She removes the bow and takes the lid off the box and says.

"NO WAY you guys didn't"

Leticia smiles and says

"It's outside in the driveway right now"

Vanessa runs off the bed and out her bedroom door. We follow her (walking) when she's outside the look on her face is priceless. When she walked outside and saw her new car, a black Ferrari with a big red bow on the hood of the car.
She hugs us both tightly and shouts.

"Thank you I love you guys"!

Later that night we out to dinner and had private time with Leticia ;). After she planted kisses all over my face and said.

"Thank you getting Vanessa that was a great idea she was happy"

I pull her close to me and say

"We were both happy to see our little girl so over joyed.

"We'll always be together happily we always will be"

*END OF FLASH BACK*

Were not together she's gone I've never been this miserable. I grab my phone and dial my friend Ryan's number.

"Justin man why the fuck did you call"

"Shut up and listen do you still deal meds"

"Yeah but didn't your "wife" make you a straight edge"

"I'll give you three thousand dollars for a fix"

"Whoa you can't be serious"!

"I am"

"When do you want it"

"SOON"

"Day after tommrow good"?

"Yeah sounds fine"

I hung up and shut my eyes and fall into a deep sleep.
