*Liam’s P.O.V*



I yelled for Harry as I stared at the phone screen “Harry come quick that douche is calling again”. Ugh I'm ready to kill whoever this is. All of the boys come in from different directions “Answer it mate!” yells Niall, “Yeah lets show ‘em what we’re made off” Louis pipes in. I set the phone on the bar counter and press speaker.




“Hello?” I say trying to hold back my anger. The person on the other end cackled “Ahh so the no good girlfriend stealing twit answers the phone hmm” the man as I can now tell said and cackled again “Guess I scared the baby too much huh? Ehh doesn’t matter”. Louis butted in “Don’t you dare call my mate a twit you twit” and that just got the man on the other end laughing evilly again “Ahh so the whole groups there yah? She must have taken my warning”. “What are you talking about? Did you threaten the Princess!” Niall said turning red. I think we were all red by now talking to this creep, his stupid laughing didn’t help. I swear this dude is familiar “What did you do to her?!!” Harry challenges, fists clenched. “Oh, I did nothing… Yet” the man whispers the last part and this sends Harry overboard. “Listen you no good filthy twit! You leave Elizabeth alone or I’ll come after you myself!” he threatened. I could practically hear the man’s smirk on the other end “Ooo looks like I have struck a nerve here. I can do what I want with her she’s my girlfriend. Unlike you guys. So stay out of mine and her business yah?” the man said sternly. This is Kyle! I can’t believe it! “Look Kyle!” I said gritting my teeth “This is the last time I warn you. Stay away from Elizabeth! Or actions are gonna be taken.” The man on the other end chuckled “This isn’t the last time I see her mates. I'm her boyfriend, and she’ll always come back. Whether she likes it or not.” And with that the line with dead.




The boys and I stared at the phone for a solid five minutes, not moving, not speaking, and just staring at the phone trying to make sense of what had just happened. The kettle rang loudly through the kitchen and caused us all to jump out of our thoughts and back into reality. I turned and took the kettle off and turned back to the boys. “What are we gonna do about him?” Zayn asks shaking his head “he’s gonna hurt her. Again. And possibly worse next time”. “No! I won’t let that happen!” I say angrily. Niall touches my shoulder trying to calm me “We won’t let anything touch her. We will each take turns staying with her” he confirmed. “Yea!” Louis piped in “I think El told me she was looking for an apartment, she could share with Liz!” he suggested but I don’t know how I feel about that. “That Kyle kid has her spare key. And I can’t get her locks changed because she doesn’t own the property.” I say shooting down the idea. I sigh and turn to pour tea for the girls upstairs.



“Couldn’t she stay here Li?” Zayn asks me and I shake my head slightly “She can. I always wanted her to stay here but she’s so dang stubborn that wants to do everything on her own. You saw how she didn’t want us into this.” I say. “Talk to her then Liam. You’re her best friend and you promised her mother you would protect her. Keep her here” Louis said. I put the cups on a tray and turned around. Harry wasn’t here anymore so no wonder he had been quiet. “I will talk to her.” I finally say “Thanks all of you for your help. I really appreciate how close you all have gotten to her” I smile. “No problem mate. Your friend is our friend.” Louis says. Niall agrees “Yea she has become like a little sister”. Zayn just nods “Just make sure nothing happens”. I nod an head upstairs to the girls.



I get up the stairs to see Harry, still angry, leaning against the door pain of Lizz’s door. He sees me “They got her to calm down. They’re watching a Disney movie now” He says looking back in. I nod and walk past him into the room “Hey girls. I brought up some tea for you all. Enjoying the movie?” I ask earning a round of shh’s. I tisk them and leave the room only to be stopped by Harry.

“I want her to break up with him. I don’t want her near Kyle anymore. This has gone too far.” He says sternly. I can tell this has wrecked him “I know Harry I want that too but I can’t control who she dates.” I say to him. This doesn’t make him any happier “I won’t let her see him again. Not after what he did to her!” he half yells. I sigh and shake my head. “We both will work it out with her ok?” I ask Harry “ok…” he answers.



*3 hours later*



~Harry’s P.O.V~



“Harry? Are you still here?” Lizz asks coming down the stairs. I look up from the board game I was playing with Liam and nod “Yea. I don’t have anything better to do” I say winking at her earning a shove. “Oh come on” she retorted “you love to hang out with me. Because I'm such fun!” she smiled brightly. “Believe what you want” I picked and went back to the game with Liam. “I don’t think you should believe him Lizzie” Liam adds “I think he came to hang out with me not you”. Lizz makes this offended sound/look and throws a small pillow at Liam knocking him back slightly.



This was the beginning of the great pillow war between Liam and Liz as I recorded it all on my phone. Liz shot one at Liam as he was showing off to the camera and knocked him on the ground hard. “Oof” Liam exhaled when he hit the ground. He stayed there for a minute and Lizz ran to him in a panic “Liam! Liam get up!” she said sitting next to him. I walked closer to them filming knowing exactly what Liam was doing. And right as I predicted it, Liam hit Liz in the side with the pillow he had in his hand making Liz shriek and fall to the side. Liam and I laughed at her and I finally stopped filming.


Lizz got up in a pout and went to sit in her favorite spot on the couch “That wasn’t funny!” she pouted as Liam and I laughed our butts off. I smiled goofily at her and admired her puppy dog pout. She looked so adorable acting like a child. I went over to her and poked the lip she was sticking out trying to get her to smile, which I did haha. I laughed again “Awe Lizzie boo. Don’t be sad” I teased sitting next to her and Liam sat on her other side “You guys are mean” she pouted again pushing us both. “Hey you know you love both of us” Liam said happily. Liz rolled her eyes “You wish!”




I popped in the movie we wanted to watch, Van Helsing, inside of the Blue Ray player and went back to sit on the couch. Lizz was in the kitchen making popcorn so here was my chance to talk to Liam “Liam” I say in a hushed voice. “Yah mate?” he answered, his voice the same level as me “we need to talk to her now. About one moving here and two dumping that dude” I say. Liam sighs “I know Harry I know. I just don’t want to control her life” he says. I nod “I understand but this isn’t controlling her life, its protecting her. This dude has something going on that no one is aware of. You saw how he scared Lizz today, he can do much worse” I say looking at the kitchen to the beautiful girl dancing around the island. “Alright. We’ll talk to her” Liam agrees. He knows that this dude isn’t good for Liz. I'm afraid he never was.



“Liz, can we talk?” Liam says as she comes back into the room with popcorn and drinks for all of us. She sets the tray down on the glass coffee table and plops in between Liam and I. “Of course best friend. What’s up?” she says smiling, here it goes. “Harry and I think that you should come and live with me and not in your apartment. The other boys, as well as us” he motions between himself and me “feel that it’s not safe right now to let you go back to your apartment alone and stay. I have tried to get the locks changed but the land lord will not change them. I would feel safer if you just lived with me now. You are over here all the time anyway, why not just live here??” Liam finally finished and studied Lizz’s face.



She was still smiling a little but you can tell that she was really contemplating this. Ever since I met her she has been such an independent girl and she didn’t like to be helpless. But right now she just needs to accept our help and listen. “I really appreciate it Liam I really do… I just don’t want to be a burden Liam” she responded looking at her hands. Liam took her shoulders “Elizabeth Cade Watson. You are not a burden and I would really like for you to live here. We will paint your room however you like it and you can put up your picture wall and add to it as much as you want. And we are gonna go get the rest of your stuff and put whatever in storage and the rest you can bring and it will be so much fun! Please Please Please!!!” Liam begged at the last part making Liz smile more and giggle. “Alright, alright I’ll come and stay.” She said laughing and Liam picked her up, spinning her “yay!!!” he yelled and I laughed. They were all crazy.



Now it was my turn to talk to her. “Lizzie, now it’s my turn to talk to you” I said as Liam put her down and she came and sat down on my lap. She makes things so hard to say, I don’t want to hurt her. “What is it Haz?” she asked in the sweet tone of her voice that only happens when she is getting tiered. Here goes nothing “Liz… I… I think that you should break up with Kyle” I said looking at her shoulder. She tried to interrupt but I stopped her “Please let me finish” I sighed and took a deep breath before continuing.



“Lizz you’re a great girl. You’re funny, independent, beautiful, and you have an amazing personality. You do not deserve to be treated like you are being treated by that… that twit. I know that you guys have history but there is something going on with him and he is not the same person as before. And I bet that deep down inside that you agree with me too. I… I mean we can’t let him hurt you again or scare you like he has. He has scared you so much that you shudder when someone says his name I’ve noticed. For your own safety I feel that you should not date him anymore. Because he’s just gonna cause you trouble and just hurt you more and more. Liam and I do not want to see you physically, emotionally, or mentally hurt any longer. You deserve so much better than what you are getting right now. I don’t want you to get hurt anymore.” I say my little rant and look away; I can’t even look at her face. I don’t want her to hate me.



Lizz snuggled up into my chest “I want to break up with him when he threatened my friends. He has been calling me nonstop. I don’t want to listen to him anymore. He is threatening me nonstop also. I just… don’t know how to break up with him” she admits and I can feel a tear fall on my shirt. I wrap my arms around her and hold her close as she continued talking “I just don’t want him to hurt you all. You, the girls, and the boys, I don’t want anyone hurt. I would rather me get hurt than any of you get hurt” she said and I looked at Liam who had the same look I did. Like our heart just cracked “We are gonna be fine. No one is gonna hurt anyone alright. We will get someone to look into Kyle and figure out a plan ok?” Liam says rubbing Lizzie’s back. She nods but continues “I'm sorry I ruined every ones night… I just couldn’t go”. “Why couldn’t you go?” I asked her playing with the ends of her hair. She sniffled “Because… He said that if I went someone in the group would leave in a body bag.” She began shaking and I looked at Liam while he stared at her dumbfounded. “I couldn’t risk it! I was so scared!” she said quieter. I sat there and rocked her trying to calm her when the only one who can really calm her is Liam. I look towards Liam who is on the verge of tears himself and did what I didn’t want to do. I handed over Liz and sat there watching as Liam calmed her down.



Liz fell asleep that night with her head in my lap and her feet on Liam, well before he went to his room to get a proper sleep. I just sat there playing with her hair and scrolling through Netflix on the T.V. She looked so beautiful when she slept. I don’t know why this guy would do anything like this to her. She didn’t deserve any of it but then again no one ever does. If this dude touches her again I’ll go haywire.




*Two Weeks Later*


~Lizz P.O.V~


I finished taping up the last box before lying back on my floor of the apartment that was no longer mine. Finally everything is gonna be moved out and either in storage or in Liam’s flat. I sat up and yelled to Liam and Niall who were moving the boxes and stuff into a moving truck “I'm done in here” I yell as I stand up and dust off my knees. Niall comes in and leans in the doorway “this place looks so weird. There are no vibrant colors” he says walking over and grabbing the box at my feet I labeled ‘Pillows’ “that goes to Liam’s ok?” I say because I have to tell them where it goes otherwise ill lose my boxes. Niall laughs “you’re a control freak you know that?” I scoff at him and just push him out the door. “Just go Irish man” I say closing the door behind me. He leaves and I look around my apartment one last time. Liam came in “You ready to go Lizziebell?” he asks putting his arm around my shoulder. I nodded “I guess so” I said heading towards the door.



This is the last time I have to worry about Kyle breaking in here and attacking me. He can’t get into Liam’s and there are always guards nearby. I don’t have to worry about getting hurt again. I can feel some of the burden lifted off of my shoulders but I know that this is not the last of my stress. I still have to go through a break up.



As you can tell, No I have not broken up with Kyle yet. Every time I try his phone it’s either busy or he won’t answer. I have a feeling that he knows I'm gonna breakup with him and he just doesn’t want to accept it. Which this scares me a lot. Liam and the boys have been in a lot of interviews this week so I have been at Liam’s flat working on homework that I needed to catch up on for the end of my Last Semester! I cannot wait till it ends cause then I don’t have to worry about school anymore. And not to mention I can finally go on tour with the boys like they have been wanting me too. I can’t wait!



We arrived at Liam’s flat with the rest of my stuff and let me tell you, I am happy to be able to unpack everything now that my rooms painted! I placed my I-Phone onto the dock I had setting in the floor near the edge of my white shag rug. I then sat on the floor for hours trying to unpack and get organized before hearing a knock on my door.

“Babes?” Perrie says walking into my room. I turn to her and smile, turning down my songs with the remote next to me. “Hey there Per” I smiled “what’s up?” I say as she jumps onto my bed. “This place is finally looking like a girl’s room” she says looking around making me giggle “I know! It was so plain before. I'm glad I got to put my touch in haha.” I said standing up and sitting on the bed next to her. “Everyone is going to dinner and a movie tonight and I was sent to invite you and Amanda. Are you in?” she asks shooting me the adorable puppy eyes that make me give in to whatever she wants. “Of course we want to go. Me and her were just gonna stay in all night but I'm sure she won’t mind if she gets to hang with Niall” I say smiling. “Yay!” Perry claps and jumps on my bed “have both of you ready by 5 o’clock. I'm coming to get you both” she says getting up and giving me a hug. “Alright I will!” I said and with that she left and I texted Amanda to grab something pretty for tonight. Because it’s gonna be a fun night with the gang!
