Chapter 10 -Cheer Up!-
~Lizz’s P.O.V~
I laid in Liam’s room just staring at the ceiling. I haven’t moved from this spot since I got here a day ago. I haven’t ate or slept, even though Liam has been constantly nagging to me to confront him about it. But I just can’t. How would he feel if he saw Dani getting coffee with another guy that he didn’t like. Especially if he knew that the alleged dude has been trying to steal Dani for years.
Liam stomps into the room, clearly he’s determined about something but I don’t even look at him. “Lizziebell, you got to get out of this room. And eat for that matter” He begins pacing around the room. He may be my best friend but he doesn’t get girls feelings when they see something they don’t want to. Of course he is the best guy friend I could ask for but still, he don’t get it. I roll my eyes but continue to look at the ceiling. I need the girls or Amanda, she’s my Liam in girl form, not to mention one of Liam’s close friends too (Just not as close as me and him are) and the guys know her also. But sadly she’s on this massive vacay to America for like three more weeks.
I felt the bed dip down on one side of me as I realize that Liam has laid down next to me. I look at him to see that he is already staring at me. I fake a smile at him but I know that he doesn’t buy it. Ugh... he is gonna make me talk to him now. He shows me a puppy dog face that always gets me to smile. I sigh and turn on my side facing him. “What?” I say bluntly. “Come on Lizziebell, it probably wasn’t what you saw. You could be taking it out of context-”. That’s where I cut him off “Out of context? How can that be Li! He yells at me one day then the next I see him buying her coffee!! Who’s to say that after he left he didn’t just go over to her house and make love to her all freaking night long!!” I hide my face in Liam’s arm feeling like crying again. Not even Liam has gotten me to stop crying all day.
“Have you text Manda? She can talk some sense into you when I can’t.” He moves the hair away from my face. I haven’t touched my phone ever since this morning. I didn’t want too. I shake my head no and continue to hide in Liam’s arm. “Come on Lizziebell. You need to eat. I’m not leaving here until you come out of this room and go eat with me. I’ve already made your favorite lunch.” he says still trying to comfort me. I don’t wanna eat, but just hearing that made me hungry. “Bacon cheeseburgers with cheese fries?” I ask him and I can practically hear his smile in triumph. “What else would I make you?” He chuckles before I finally sit up. “Can I change first? I’m not that comfortable in these clothes. And I wanna brush my hair.” I ask messing with a strand of hair. “Yes, I will be down stairs.” He says sitting up and giving me tight bear hug, kissing my forehead and walking towards the door. I sigh when he’s gone and walk over to my suitcase Liam brought up and grabbed my favorite Deathly Hallows tee and some comfy pajamma shorts. It’s not like I have anyone to impress today. After changing I tame my messy hair into a side fish tail braid just to get it out of my way and head down the stairs. But I stop before getting all the way down. There’s more than one voice down there. Crap.
I take a deep breath and continue down stairs to see Niall and Zayn and Louis sitting on the floor playing with and old punch game. So now four of the boys are here. Great. I walk into the kitchen to see Liam frying burgers. I huff at him “You didn’t say they were here Li” I say threw my teeth. It’s not that I don’t love the boys I just don’t want to hang out right now. Liam chuckles “Lighten up. You need to cheer up and they are gonna help. The girls are on their way here and after lunch you guys are going shopping while the boys and I have an interview. I’m paying.” I begin to protest but Liam cuts me off “No arguments. Your gonna have a girls day out on me cause that’s what best friends are for and you are not gonna argue with it. I’ve already told Dani that if you don’t use my card to make you.” I tune him out though when he said Dani. “Dani’s back?! I thought she was still in America for another day!” I actually smiled for the first time today. I love that Dani is dating Liam. The day I met her she made such an effort to get close to me and she understands my relationship with Liam. She’s also very good for him.
“She got back three days early. That’s why I wasn’t able to hang with you at Harry’s. I thought he told ya!” Liam chuckles and puts the burgers on a plate with cheese on them. “Remind me to smack him next time I see him” I joke taking a piece of bacon from another plate and popping it into my mouth before Liam can see “Where is he anyway?”. “He had a date with some girl” Liam says and I laugh “When doesn’t he?”. I really hope today will be fun.
I walked into the living room with a can of Sunkiss just when Zayn hit Louis’ boxer one last time to win. “Wahoo!!!!!” he yells pumping his fist in the air, hitting my knee as I walk by him. “Ouch!” I yell grabbing at my knee, barely setting my drink on the table “What was that for?” I hiss at him. His face goes white with worry and fear, probably of Liam. “I’m so sorry Lizz! I didn’t mean too!” Zayn says getting up and helping me sit down on the couch. His face is to priceless to the point where I start laughing my butt off. “Don’t worry about Zaynie, I’ll be fine” I say tapping his head then messing with his hair. He flips “Lizz!!!!” he says backing away “Lay off the hair! I told you I was sorry!”. I can’t help but laugh “I’m sorry Zaynie. Did I strike a nerve?” I say smirking. He glares at me “Maybe I’m not sorry I hit you any more” he says sticking his tongue out at me. That is when Perrie walked in.
“Zayn Malik! How dare you talk to her like that!” Perrie yells after she gives me a “play along” look. Zayn’s head flicks towards Perrie’s direction so fast I’m surprised that he doesn’t get whiplash. “Perrie..” was all he was able to get out. She walked over to us “Aww Zayn. Surprised?” she giggled “Lighten up babe I was just joking calm down.” she said as she sat down next to me. Zayn rolled his eyes, kissed Perrie then headed towards the kitchen to help Liam.
Perrie turned to me “Are you okay girl? I heard about what happened. Guys are jerks. They cant tell their head from their butt. Don’t let them get to ya.” she said hugging me. Leave it to Perrie to make me laugh. “Thanks Perr. I don’t wanna talk about him today. Liam told me we are going on a Girls Day Out thing today.” I say trying to change the subject. And it works cause now I got Perrie grinning wildly. “Yes! Its gonna be so fun. We are gonna go shopping, go get Mani-patties, then we are gonna go out to dinner just us and head to a club after wards” she says. I roll my eyes, I don’t want to go to a club but if I tell her no she’ll be upset. Can’t have that. “Sounds fun!” I say acting excited.
I heard the door open and close as more people walked in. Elanor and Danielle. “I heard we are having a party!” Dani says as I get up and run over to her. “Dani! How was your trip!” I say hugging her. “Well I see how it is Lizz. Don’t even notice me” El says sticking her tongue out at me. I return the favor and stick my tongue out at her while hugging her “sorry El. But I’ve seen you more than I’ve seen Dani in like the past month!”. She rolls her eyes “Fine Fine” she says walking over and sitting on Louis’ back.
I turn to Dani “Did Liam tell you what happened?” I whispered. She nodded before hugging me “Yea he did. I’m sorry Lizz. What are you gonna do about it?” she asks and I just shake my head. “I’m gonna talk to him about it. I mean he lets me talk to him about these things so I guess that’s what I have to do.” I say while walking into the living room with Dani. We sit at the bar and watch as Louis and Niall go all out on the boxing thing when we here the door open and close again. That’s when she walked in and I almost choked on my drink. “No one told me we were having a Party!” She said smiling at me. I Jumped up and screamed “Amanda!!!!!!”.
