Tough Love
Chapter 1
Danielle’s P.O.V
I live in a very small state called Vermont.No one really knows it but it is small.I can’t wait to leave.I took a year off to save up for university and I just can’t wait to get out.
Vermont is one of those states that if you don’t get out you will end up stuck there for the rest of your life and that is not my plan.I really want to travel and see the world so does my best friend Deana.
There’s only one problem.We don’t have the money hence the taking a year off.We are both working at a small dinner in town.We have both moved out and started to rent a place of our own.Since my parents are never really around it was easy for me.Deana on the other hand had trouble because her parents wanted her to come home but she never did.
It was almost noon and I worked the afternoon shift at K.J diner.Deana and I always worked the same shifts because it was the best time for both of us.
“Deana are you ready to go?”I shouted up the stairs.
“Yup.” She said popping the p and walking down the stairs.
“Ok well let’s head out.”I said and we went to the car and drove to work.
It wasn’t a really busy day.We only had a few people pop in every once and a while.For the most part we were just sitting around doing nothing.
“Ok.Call, Avoid, and Marry.”Deana said and I just spun in my chair to face her.
“Zac Effron, Justin Bieber, Liam Hemsworth. Go!” I said to her.
“Call Zac, Avoid Justin big time, and marry Liam.”She said real quickly.
“Josh Hutcherson, Zayn Malik, Cody Simpson.”She then said after thinking for a minute.
“Call Zayn, Avoid Cody and marry Josh.”I said and she just smiled.
“Girls what are you doing?”Our boss asked and we just giggled.
“We were passing time with a game.It’s deserted in here.”Deana said and he just nodded and went back to doing whatever he was doing.
“You know who I want to marry?”Deana asked me.
“Leonardo Decaprio?”I asked knowing that I was right.
“Yes because no matter how old he is he is so fucking sexy.”She said and I couldn’t help but laugh.
“Ya ya… Let’s clean up and head home our shifts almost up.There is no reason to be here when there are no customers.”I said and we got to work cleaning the tables and getting everything ready for when the dinner shift came.
I was cleaning up when I heard the chimes go off from the front door.I stopped what I was doing and went to put my apron on before I greeted the new customers.
“Take a seat where ever you like.”I said grabbing some menus and looking up at Deana who was staring wide eyed at me.I swear she was going to start to drool any second.
“I’m Danielle and I will be your waitress this afternoon.Can I get you something to drink?”I asked finally looking up at the table and saw the exact reason why Deana was about to drool.
Keeping my composure as I handed out the menus and got out my pad and pen to write down their orders.
“I would like a chocolate milk shake please.”The blonde one spoke up.
“I will have a pepsi please.”The guy with the brown hair and brown eyes said.
“I will have the same.”The brown haired blue eyed guy said.
“Can I just get a water please.”The black haired guy piped up.
“Surprise me.”Said the last guy with his husky voice giving me a side smile.
“Sure thing.I will be right back.”I said and went and got their drinks.
I was back behind the counter when Deana joined me.She just stared at me for a few seconds before silently freaking out.
“How are you so calm right now?You are serving the biggest boy band ever right now and you are not freaking out?”She started and I just shook my head.
“Well I don’t think it would be enjoyable if I screamed in their faces when they came here to eat in peace.”I said and she looked at me in awe.
“Man you are so lucky.How many girls can say they served One Direction food?”She asked.
“Well a lot.They probably go out to eat more than you think.”I said and she just scoffed and walked into the back room probably to freak out.
“Ok Irish had the Milkshake, you two had the pepsi’s, you had the water and curly over here asked for a surprise.Are you ready to order?”
I asked and they all had a laugh before settling down and ordering.They all ordered burgers so I decided to put the picks that hold the burgers together in with different colors so I wouldn’t mix up their orders.
Once everything was ready I put in the picks and went to their table.They were all laughing at something that was said before I got there so I just cleared my throat so they knew I was there.
“It looks delicious.”The Irish boy said.
“Ok so Irish had the double burger with everything, brown eyes over here had the burger without onions,Blue eyes ordered the burger with no tomato and no onions,black hair ordered the angus burger and finally curly you wanted the bacon double cheese burger.”I said while handing everything out.
“We have names love.”Curly spoke up.
“I know but where would be the fun in that?”I asked as I gave him a smirk and a wink and walked away leaving them all laughing.
Well this turned into an eventful lunch shift.Who would have though One Direction would ever be in Vermont of all places?
The guys were finishing up and they started fighting over who was going to pay the bill.I was cleaning and decided to go over and ask if they wanted me to split the bill.
“You don’t have to fight you know.I can just split the bill.”I said to them and they all looked up at me like they had an idea.
“Here you choose.”Irish hands me the bill.I liked him the most so I don’t think I will give it to him.
“Here.”I said placing the bill in front of Curly and all the guys broke out in laughter.
“I knew she was going to give it to you Harold!”One of them spoke up but I didn’t know which one because I was still looking at curly.
“Fine but I’m not paying the next one.”He said getting out his wallet.I walked away and grabbed a tray to clear their plates.
Once I had the table cleared and everything was washed up I took off my apron and handed it to Deana over the counter so she could put it away for me.
“Well Danielle is it?”I heard the raspy voice from behind me say.
“It is.”I said turning around and was looking at the most beautiful pair of green eyes I had ever seen.
“Here.Keep the change.” He said giving me a full smile as well as a wink and walking out the door to join his band mates but stopped and turned back to me.“Maybe I will see you again.”He said and I just laughed.
“I doubt it.But I will be here so you know where to find me.”I said and with that he was off.
“Oh god!He was so flirting with you.The Harry Styles was flirting with you.You are so lucky.”Deana said finally speaking up.
“He wasn’t.I’m a nobody and that’s the way I like it.He is a somebody and he seems to like it so I don’t think it would ever work out.”I said going to put the cash in the register.
“I will give him one thing.He is a good tipper.”I said holding up the extra 45 dollars.
“Dani.Look!”Deana handed the receipt that was on the counter.
“So?” I said about to put it in the cash register.
“Look at the back!”She practically screamed at me.

One of the best waitresses we have ever had.By the way the names are Harry, Louis, Liam, Zayn and Niall.We will defiantly try to come here again.Give our complements to the chef!

“Did you see the bottom?”She asked but I just shook my head.
“It says call me.Do you even know what that means?You are one of the few girls to actually have Harry Style’s number!”
Well he is persistent I give him that.I took a picture of the back of the receipt and put in his number on my phone under Curly and headed home.This kind of stuff never happens to me.

Well this is just the first chapter. I want to know what your guys' opinion is. Should I continue or not? Tell me truthfully.
