Stupid fanfic moments

You know those fanfics where you just read the desciption and just sigh heavily, and you Think to yourself: "i have lost all faith in humanity."

i have these moments Whenever i read a fanfic, where Katie is sold to one direction by her mother. Like wtf?!?!! Why on Earth would you Want that?!?! Why would your mother sell you the fanfic goes like:

i was in my room doing nothing. I heard my mom yell at me from downstairs. I groaned what did she Want now?
i Walked Down stairs to see 5 handsome guys standing next to my mother.

"hey sweetie. Im a little low on cash for the moment. So i sold you to these Nice fellows. Go upstairs and pack your things." I nodded and went up stairs to pack smiling.

like what? You're short on money and decide to sell your daughter? How about selling her closet and Electronics instead?
"AND THE ACADEMY AWARD FOR WORST MOTHER IN THE HISTORY OF EVER GOES TO KATIES MOM!!"
Im just here Reading like: "what kind of drugs does it take to enjoy this? And how do i make sure it gets wiped off the face of the univers?"
