Stupid fanfic moments

Broken.

Okay i get that you need drama or whatever in your fic. And that Them having a complicated past is a very normal and easy Way to do so. But.

Why does the Girl Always have to be so f*cking broken?

litterally Way too many fanfics, features a Girl with depression or abusing parents or ex boyfriends.

and yeah it Can surport people in these situations. But i feel like it is overused. I feel like there is so many fics out there concerning these issues that there is not any normal left.

like yeah they are big issues, but is it too Much to ask for a Girl who isnt broken? Or at least in another Way? What about a deaf Girl? Or blind? Or who has cancer? Or someone who just has normal problems? (By that i mean commitment issues. Or she does not know how she feels ever or anything) i Want to read normal stuff.

I rather like Morgana. It's a really great mage name...you know...for wizards....not a teenager in a fan fiction...Morgana should be a necromancer in a fantasy novel by the dude who wrote Dragonlance or in a game (like in League of Legends, there's a character named Morgana who IS the dark mage I mentioned lol) but she shouldn't be some generic Starbucks drinking white girl who meets her favourite band at random in a story >.>
