Their Little Secret

Gabi POV:

"Come for a day at the beach they said. It'll be just be you and us they said" I shook my head as hot tears made their way down my cheeks. Once again I'd fallen for another lie as I walked across the Sand of the private beach we were on, I wanted to be as far away from their girlfriends as possible especially after the mouthful Me, Liam and Harry received from Kendall and Sophia for being too clingy with each other. That was a long day and I had no plans to rehash it just yet.

"Why are you crying?" I turned around facing Zayn and Louis's girlfriends: Valerie and Ema and wiped at my eyes furiously. I didn't know if they'd been following me or not so I bit my lip then thought up a quick lie "Oh just girl issues, you know time of the month and all. Sometimes it makes me so angry I cry" I shrugged smiling then waved their sympathies off. I didn't need it nor did I want it. I just wanted to go far away from all the pain I was feeling and sit alone.

I sat in a rock pool and let myself sob. Out of all the lads girlfriends Niall's had to be the nicest, her name was Allie and they didn't really love each other. They both wanted out of the loveless relationship, Allie and Niall both knew I was hurting and they'd worked together to come up with a plan. I confessed everything to her as I sobbed one night and she held me close telling me that Niall felt just as bad as I did. She had a heart of Gold and even though they didn't love each other, Niall absolutely adored her as did I "I thought I'd find you here" Her velvety voice reached my ears and I sniffled

"Oh Gabs. Come on now, if Niall saw you like this he'd be ever so upset" I didn't care if the lads heard my sobs or if they were worried, I just wanted some peace and clarity. I wanted to be miles away from the situation I was in now. "It's not fair Allie. I'm in so much pain" I sniffled wiping my eyes then struggled to breathe before finding myself engulfed in two strong arms, it was Niall. He'd obviously seen everything happening "Babe... Gabs, you've got to calm down. Calm down" His Irish accent was making everything ten times worse, I pushed against his chest then screamed into his t-shirt before bawling my eyes out

Harry POV:

"LET ME GO NIALL" I cringed hearing Gabi's voice float across the beach. She sounded heartbroken, almost tortured. I stood up brushing the sand off my swim shorts then jogged across the beach and pulled Gabi out of Niall's arms "Just leave me alone" She murmured "Just let me go to France and have a nice holiday for a few weeks" I let go of Gabi and tried to find something clever to say. She really was hurting and I felt bad that none of us would let her go "Make sure you say hello to those gorgeous little sisters of yours for me"

I loved Gabi's little sisters, they were twins and they'd just turned five, their names were Daphne and Cerise. The smile that made its way on Gabi's face made my heart stop, she seemed genuinely happy that she was getting to go on her much needed holiday "Harry we can't let her go. You said so yourself" I stopped Niall from going any further then pulled Gabi into my chest and molded my lips with hers. I could feel her smile widening as I kissed her then chuckled as she whispered "My sisters will want to know why you're not coming too. You know they want to marry you" I pulled back from the kiss then pecked her cheek and whispered "When you come back I promise we'll work something out

I took her hand in mine and interlocked our fingers as we walked along the beach soon accompanied by the other lads, our girlfriends were soon forgotten as Allie drove them all home "I'm not going" I gaped at Gabi as she made her confession "I mean... I don't want to go, yes I'm hurting and yes I know we can't continue whatever the hell this is between us all. And I'm okay with that" I glanced over at Louis then looked behind me at Liam, Zayn and Niall and bit my lip. "But I have some conditions" I knew there was a catch. There was always a catch with Gabi "Name them"

"Okay One: Please don't rub your relationships in my face. I may be okay with not being with you but I am still healing. Two: We have to make time for us without the girls around so I know you guys still value me as a friend and Three: Please don't forget me. I could take anything apart from you forgetting me" She sat down in a rock pool and stared at us for a while before letting another batch of tears fall "I have a condition too" We all looked at Zayn and I held my breath. I hoped he wouldn't be mean, I'd have to knock him out if he was "My condition is that you talk to us. Let us know what's going on in your head, that way we can make it easier"

She agreed to Zayn's condition then stood herself up and dried her eyes. It had been a long haul but we were now all working together to make things easier for Gabi so the heartbreak could heal. The first phase of my plan to get Gabi back had begun

Now all I had to do was get the lads to agree and hopefully talk some sense into Gabi
