The hospital room is quiet. Katie's asleep. I'm just sitting on the couch...with Darcy.Gosh,i never thought i be holding something that I made...

She's sleeping like a rock. I hold her tight in my arms. I rock softly back and forth.

''Your so beautiful..''i whisper to her.''You look just like your mom... I never expected this to happen...but i am glad it did..''

I glance up at Katie.Still asleep. I whisper,''I'm so happy that your finally here...I've been waiting forever..''

I kiss her forehead and smile at her little life.Just a few days old. Three for exact.We go home tomorrow...

Begin a dad is the best feeling in the world.Better than winning a million. Better than anything. Better than a free beach house, or anything.

Its the best feeling and i won't waste it. Every moment,I'll be there. I won't be like most young parents. i won't. I WILL be there. I will be there every little moment.Every time she needs me.Every sound she makes.Every need she has.

When she walks down the aisle to start her future. But..WAY before that, There's gonna be a boy. He's gonna ask me. He's gonna be approved by me.
