Tip1; Characters
When I go on a story, I'm expecting to see some characters. If there aren't any, characters I don't know who this, 'Ginger' or 'Kasen' is. It gets me confused, and I have no idea what's going on, who's in love with who, so don't forget characters, or people might get confused.
And also, don't over use names. Like, Skylar, Megan, and Lola. I have the name Lola in one of my stories, but, oh well. :P But on a lot of stories, I see those names. DON'T OVER USE NAMES!!!!!! Please?
And also, one more thing on the topic, 'TOO MANY CHARACTERS!'
If there are 18-20 characters in your book, it could get confusing. Readers don't remember most of them. I did that In one of my stories, and my readers got confused, but I didn't change it, so if you have a lot of characters, don't worry about deleting characters or chapters, just keep them there, and keep Rollin. :)
Notes
I learned this from my sister, because she knew how to do these things that I'm doing now. :)
