"Let's Just Live"

Naomi -
"Go wait over there sweetie while mummy signs some papers" my mother smiled down at me turning back to the nurse she was speaking to.

I trotted down the hall way walking past the spot my mother told me to wait and passing all these doors.

Their were so many different people here
Old, young even babies.

I was going to turn a corner when I heard a boy call

"Hey you girl.

I peered into the room seeing a boy about my age in a big bed with machines around him and cartoons paintings on the walls.

"Yeah" Naomi still hid behind a bit of the wall covering her body and half of her face.

"How old are you" he asked with a giggle that made her giggle to

"I'm 4" she beamed her smile revealing dimples.

"I'm 5" he stated like he was so old and proud puffing out his chest.

"My name is Liam" he stated "Liam Payne"

"I'm Naomi Winters".

"Naomi!" The children's heads both snapped to Naomi's mother standing right next to her with worry on her face.

"Didn't I tell you to wait near the chairs"

"Sorry mummy" Naomi looked down and twisted her toe into the floor pouting.

"It's alright just don't freak mummy out like that okay" Naomi's mum rubbed her daughters arms in comfort.

"Well I guess you did help mummy find the room you have to stay in for a while"

Naomi peered up at her mother curiously.

"Why aren't I coming home?" Naomi asked not wanting to spend overnight in a room like this".

"They just need to run some tests sweetie" Naomi's mother led her in the room picking her up and placing her in the bed opposite Liam.

"Mummy's got to go back to work now but here's a bag with all your clothes and things you can play with" Naomi's mum placed her hands on her daughters face and rubbed her thumbs along her cheeks.

"Okay mummy" Naomi pouted and watched her mother stop at the door and look back at her child.

"I love you birdie" her mother called waiting for her child's response

"I love you even more mama"

"I love you most" and her mother blowed a kiss and Naomi caught it and swung her arms around her self grinning.

Naomi's mother left and a few seconds later Liam spoke up.

"So why're you here" he lent back onto his bed and looked at Naomi

"Um there's something wrong with me but I don't know what" Naomi told truthfully. "Why're you here" she quizzed the boy in front of her.

"I only have one kidney" he huffed and shrugged his shoulders.

"Well let's become good friends" she smiled a toothy grin and he returned it.

Okay here's a first chapter I got this idea last night when trying to sleep
(damn you over active mind).

but anyways I hope you like this chapter which is kinda like the begging when everything started.
